This is the weekly check-in for TTCALers who are also dealing with infertility. If you'd like to join us please feel free to intro with your diagnosis and history. We've had a few extra challenges thrown at us, ladies. Come here for snuggles from people who get what you're dealing with. 

Fill us in, along with any other updates or vents you need to get out, TTCAL or NonTTCAL related.

If you get a BFP, please PM me and let me know.  If you do not PM me I will not mention you in the check-in.  If we haven’t heard from you in a few weeks please come back in with an update; or are new and want to join please post a brief intro with your DX and current/future treatment plans and then you'll be added to next week’s check in!

AFM:  I still don't have my paper calendar in my possession but the nurse in charge finally called me and my FET is scheduled for October 30th.  I'm bummed it's so late in the month but there is nothing I can do about it.  At least I'll be through busiest part of my semester at school by then.  I had to have a heart to heart with DH about helping me more around the house to keep my stress level down.  I feel better now that we are on the same page.  

QOTW:  I think I would describe myself as sunlight.  Sunlight always makes me feel better and I think that's the kind of person I am, always trying to make people feel better.

@Frenchteachermama- Glad you finally got an appointment for your FET.  

AFM- AF finally showed yesterday and we are no longer benched!  I will call on Monday to schedule my HSG.

QOTW- I am more of a daylight person because I enjoy spending time outside. The shorter days makes me feel depressed.

AFM: DH and I just returned from a wonderful vacation. I'm expecting AF today or tomorrow, then I'll schedule baseline for IUI#4
I think I'm going to choose femara rather than clomid, just bc it sounds like there are fewer side effects.
My RE didn't seem too have a preference

@Frenchteachermama Thanks for the check know in. I am glad you got your FET scheduled,  it sounds like it might be good timing even if you have to wait. It is good to be on the same page as dh. Mine still needs to be reminded from time to time about helping out.

AFM- I got a surprise this week... AF showed 4 days earlier than usual. Unfortunately it looks like my insurance will no longer pay for my medication so I am going to be on a mostly medication free cycle. I am hoping to get my flex card functioning again and we will be in business again. The first week of MET has gone pretty well. Some bloating, some heartburn but the first benefit is my little beard has started to disappear.  I have had a problem with this since I went off bcp's 10 years ago. I start the next dose tonight. 

QOTW : I think it depends on the time of year. Right now I am leaning towards twilight or night, mostly because it has been a long and warm summer (which I love) but I like variety and I am tired of sunshine. Around February when the days are super short and we have had nothing but rain for three months I would say I am daylight.

I'm so glad you had a wonderful vacation, you deserve it!!  I can't speak for clomid but I never had a single side effect on femara, I hope you'll be the same way!!

I'm so sorry about the insurance, I hope you get everything settled soon!  Why do we have to be plagued with weight gain, beards, and pizza faces on top of IF???????  ((hugs))

AFM:
Gosh...... I am getting down to the wire again! The punch to my ute is coming up on Friday and then I start doxy, medrol, and PIO with crinone...... Oh crap! I'm excited and definitively scared. Obviously I'm really hoping that this works this time..... I'm also hoping that we have some good embies at the thaw on Oct 2. I think oct 2 will be a difficult day.

QOTD: I am a twilight lady. I absolutely LOVE how everything just glows.

@Racheleigh- Hope you enjoyed your vacation.  I take Femara and the only side effect that I experience is hot flashes.  I don't have any experience with Clomid.

@rubysi- Sorry that AF showed early.

@Frenchteachermama- Thanks I will keep you posted.

Happy Sunday everyone! I had my surgery on Thursday. One cyst was removed from each ovary and the tiny amount of remaining tissue was removed from my uterus. The first 2 days were rough but I'm feeling great now. Now I'm just waiting for AF so we can get this show back on the road!

  I started joining in on the board last week.   We've been trying for over 2 years and our diagnosis is unexplained fertility. 
Here's my history:
Testing:  Day 3, Day 21 bloodwork normal, HSG normal, SA normal

Diagnosis:  Unexplained infertility

Treatment:  IUI #1 50mg Clomid + Bravelle + Ovidrel (3 follicles)  3/31/14 =BFN
IUI #2  50mg Clomid + Bravelle + Ovidrel trigger (4 follicles) 4/30/14=Cancelled due to high LH levels- TI instead=BFN
IUI #3 50mg Clomid + Bravelle +Ovidrel trigger (3 follicles)  5/28/14=BFN
Hysteroscopy to remove polyps in the uterus:   7/15/14
IVF #1  :  ER 8/10/14:  22 eggs, 17 mature, 10 fertilized,  ET 8/15/14: transferring 1 embryo, freezing 8 remaining embryos.
8/28/14 beta#1 =255 BFP!  beta #2 =752 beta #3=2521
9/8/14-Heartbeat seen @6w2d
9/13/14-missed m/c @7 weeks

FX for you!!!!!!!  I think that's what is freaking me out the most, the wait to see what makes it through the thaw.  I'm praying for you!!

So glad surgery went well and that you're feeling great now!  What's the plan going forward?

Welcome!!  I am so sorry you are here, hope your stay is short!!!  Are you going to be doing an FET when you get the all clear from your doctor?

Hi ladies!  sorry I am so late to the game again.

AFM: still don't have any dates...a friend of mine is on the cycle before me and her ER is today so I am assuming a month from nowish will be mine.  the spotting is still going strong...it is so damn annoying...I'm basically having a period everyday and this has been going on for about 3 weeks.  suck suck suck.

@frenchteachermama - sorry you are bummed about it being so late in the month but everything is crossed for you!!!

@Frenchteachermama‌ Thanks for the check in! I feel like I haven't been around here in a long time! Things have been crazy with harvest and feeling low about having my last IUI with Letrozole last week. I am not ready to talk about the next step. I am 7dpiui right now and I am on the fence about whether it worked or not. I don't want to know what the next step is yet. I just really want to know if this last shot worked! Huge Hugs ladies! I am so sorry I haven't been around much!
