Milo vs. Hudson

Hey ladies what do you think of the names Milo and Hudson?

My DD isn't a fan of Hudson and DH isn't a fan of Milo... However, he named the other 2 children so it's my turn this time!

DD is Emma and DS is Gavin. We also like Walker as a middle name (family name) but it's not completely necessary. Any other suggestions are welcome! TIA

I'd prefer Miles nn Milo. I think Miles Walker sounds nice. Hudson is too trendy for my taste.

Love Hudson but wouldn't use because it's so popular. I don't like Milo. Just NOT my style. But I have to say imo your DD should not have a say. It's your baby.

I vote for Hudson. I wouldn't worry about your DD not being a fan of it; kids' taste in names can change rapidly.

I think I'm in the minority on this board but I'm not a fan of Milo (and it's one of those names that I'm guessing wouldn't be as enthusiastically received IRL as with baby name enthusiasts, but I know that will vary quite a bit depending on your circles). I had a friend whose name was John Milo and he was embarrassed by the Milo and tried to avoid anyone finding out his middle name.

Also, having lived overseas, it just makes me think of the Nestle Milo drink that's so popular in some of the places I've been.

I love Milo! I think it goes well with the middle name Walker and with your other kids names. I don't like Hudson.

I love both names, Hudson is on my short list for future children, Milo is a guilty pleasure name of mine!! If you do use Walker as the middle name though I'd go with Milo
