So I woke up terrified in the middle of the night thinking someone was breaking into my house. Great, I'm pregnant and by myself and my baby is across the hall in her room.

Quickly determine that what sounds like a friggin person is an animal that has got into our attic somehow and is stuck trying to get out. Right over my head. The noises were so scary.

After hours, It finally either got out or settled in for the night. So now I have to entertain DD all day on 4 hours of sleep (and I'm sick) and call the pest control company who will likely tell us we need our attic animal-proofed which will cost at least $1K. I told DH he's going to have to go up there when he gets home!!

On a good note, hey we are all healthy and bean is doing fine. I'm going to try to make the most of the day.

I woke up crying because I had a dream the baby isn't going to look like me. Both of my girls looked like their dad, and I'm sure this little one will too.

I slept like shit last night. After waking up around 5 times to pee, I finally was up for good around 3am trying to figure out if the feeling I had was that I needed to poop, puke, or go back to sleep. I got up and binge watched some episodes of 4 weddings I had DVR'd and ate some saltines and sprite.

I fully intend on napping with H later today.

On a positive note, it was nice to be up with the sunrise this morning. Looks like it's gonna be a gorgeous day today! Happy weekend everyone!

DD decided she wanted to wake up at 6 this morning. Really freakin' bummed. I had hoped H would take care of her, but he just brought her into bed and then he went to sleep. Nice H.

It's supposed to be windy today so going to see hot air balloons may not happen because if it's too windy they won't even inflate them. I'll be SO bummed

I haven't been around all week and don't know what's been going on at all. Work was crazy and so was personal stuff after work. Hoping I can get back to keeping up with things now!

As a result of on of the many things that happened this week, we are looking at houses today. I've never gone house shopping! We've only rented and now we're buying. Very exciting for me!

I'm so excited for today! We're going to the pumpkin patch! It finally opened and I just want to be there all day! It's a perfect fall day too, a little cool but not too bad.

You ladies got me craving bagels for the longest time so I finally remembered to get some from the store. Im now eating cinnamon raisin bagels with cinnamon brown sugar cream cheese.... =P~

The wedding last night was absolutely gorgeous. It reminded me so much of me and my kids' dad's wedding so I cried like a baby.. Bittersweet. At risk of being an AW, here are some pictures:

It's my SO birthday today and it's our first anniversary (dating, not marriage). He took the day off so we could spend it together, and we are going out to dinner at the restaurant where we had our first date! I hope everyone enjoys the day!

Oh also, I was laying down feeling my tummy and it's so exciting how much I can feel my uterus now! Just the thought of my baby being in there is amazing.. But I felt a lump on top of it, besides the hardness of the uterus and it has me worried because my school instructor who's also pregnant has a hernia on her uterus and now I'm thinking I do because it's apparently common in second, third, etc pregnancies..

There is a military ball in January that my husband told me about. Apparently the military is footing the bill for everyone to get rooms at the Grand Ole Opry Hotel where it's being held. The thought of finding an evening dress for my very pregnant body is making me gag.

On the upside a local company is holding a pumpkin launch Nov 1st that I'm oddly extremely excited about. They are having live music and food and things for the kids to play on.

We are throwing a surprise birthday party for my grandma's 80th birthday today and I am so excited to see her! I haven't seen her at all since H told her we were expecting (long story, but I was miffed at him for telling her without me).

So I had a dream last night that there was some kind of radiation bomb near my home. I felt fine, but I knew baby & I had been seriously exposed as had everything in my environment. Then I realized that there was also some kind of block of radioactive material in my house & it had been near my stomach for hours several times. I was so upset and trying to figure out if I needed to terminate.

It was horrible, but also my first dream where my pregnancy was involved. I am honestly kind of happy about it! For the longest time, I never dreamed of my pregnancy and I certainly never dreamed about losing the baby. I didn't even have that fear in waking life -- I was so depressed, I didn't care whether or not the pregnancy stuck. I never bought a doppler because I just didn't care to hear the heartbeat. Some days I even hoped I would miscarry. (And then I felt like a horrible person.) But ever since I saw the baby at our 12 week u/s, and since 2nd tri has evened out my mood, I've been excited about the pregnancy. And now I'm having terrifying pregnancy dreams like a normal person who wants her baby! I'm sure they will get old quickly, but for now...I'm just happy to be feeling normal. (And happy that my baby was not actually irradiated.)

16 weeks today and I find out the sex tomorrow. I'm so excited to see the baby tomorrow since he/she is measuring a week early and curious to see if my doctor will be changing the due date!

I woke up with one dog on my pillow with me- her face touching mine- and the other sprawled out over my legs. These are not little dogs... black lab and golden retriever. They're so ridiculous, but I love my fur babies.

DH is making cheeseburger quesadillas tonight! We have never made these before, but they sound like they're going to be fan-freakin-tastic!!!

My H is away this weekend at a Nascar race with his friends. My SS is at his mom'se house. so I am a lone ranger this weekend!

so far so good! went to a co-workers baby shower last night and tonight some girlfriends are coming over for a ladies night. I spent the morning cleaning. I am now making some delish dip!
