This thread prompted me to see what costumes we have. Which lead to dress up time. If I can get the kids to sleep early enough tonight, I'll try to post pictures.
I wanted LO to be a lion or maybe a bear or maybe a puppy because she barks whenever we see/hear/talk about dogs, but we have both piglet and pooh bear costumes that fit well. Hmmmmm. I figure this is my last year to pick. - I want to make it good.
At what age will you all start bringing these LO's trick or treating? I feel like she would love to walk around and see all the kids. Andddd this pregnant momma would oh-so-selfishly eat her candy for her, but I feel like maybe she won't really be into it until next year.
We did last yr. at our town's trick-or-treating event, and will again this yr.
@WanderingA DD went trick or treating the first time when she was almost 2 (Dec baby). She went with her older cousins, but didn't make it to every house because she was pokey. And we were fine with that. We took DS with us last year, but didn't get candy for him. Some people still gave it though. We'll do the same thing this year. He'll love walking around, we won't get him any candy. He may get a sucker, but that's it.
This year she wants to be a "Pink Baby Ghost" that's pink and blue. So I'm going the ole sheet with eye-holes route... then I'm going to get some fabric dye and put the lower half in dark blue dye and let it see up, and put the upper half in pink dye and let it seep up. I love that she wants to be a "spooky ghost" for halloween.
Amanda will probably wear Marnie's old pink cheetah costume from when she was the same age.... Halloween was the day I found out I was pregnant with Amanda! :O

I bought Sebastian a "Sebastian, the Crab" costume
*On 4.28.11 we said goodbye to our angel baby (D&E at 18.5 weeks)*
