Does Your LO sleep with Pillows & Blanket/Sheet?

A sleeps with an A&A breathable blanket and she kicks it off at night but I was wondering about pillows. She seems to love sleeping on a pillow when she sleeps in our bed. I'm wondering if that is why she wakes up wanting out of her crib and into our bed where she has no problem sleeping.

And what about night lights?

  • Yes, yes, and yes. Still currently cosleeping and he uses a travel size pillow and sleeps under the comforter with me. His sound machine is also a projector that we have on.

  • Neither blankets nor pillows. She kicks off blankets so I don't bother, and likes to sleep flat on her stomach without a pillow.

  • He has slept with a pillow for months now (use to co-sleep, now he is in his own crib). He has a blanket in his crib I never cover him with it but sometimes he will pull it over himself. He use to have a nightlight but I removed it when I realized that it was keeping him awake longer if he woke up in the MOTN. Without it he usually STTN or if he does wake up he falls back asleep quickly.

  • She has really got an attachment to the nursing pillow, so she now sleeps with that. Night light ever since day one so I could see without flicking on a lamp. She does have a blanket in her crib. Most of the summer I didn't cover her up, but I do tuck her in with it now that it's cooler. She usually kicks it off, but if she gets cold in the night I've seen her pull it back over herself.

  • He's got a old flat pillow in his bed, he rarely uses it. He's got a blanket too, but he kicks it off.
He likes to sleep in just a diaper too, sometimes he'll sleep in a shirt or just pants.

He's got a small night light in there.

  • Nothing at all in the crib. She's always been fine that way, so we don't see a point in changing it up. Dark room and a sound machine

  • When we switched to 2-piece Jammies we started using a blanket instead of sleep sack because I wanted him to be able to take it off if he got too hot. No pillow. 4 night lights...

  • 1 A&A blanket and 3 lovies. He only sleeps with the lamb lovie but likes to play with the other 2 when he wakes up. No pillow here.

  • A&a dream blanket. No pillow. For naps he wears the light halo sleep sack. For some reason he won't nap without it on. It's the kind with the holes for your feet so he can stand up and walk.

  • @subliminalrabbit‌, let me know about sleep lady and that works for y'all. I'm wondering if we should try it bc of our sleep struggles. I do think the nightlight helps when she does wake up bc she's not in complete darkness and I put it on last night and when she woke today, she was talking and not screaming/crying like normal

  • No actual pillow, but he uses one of his blankets folded up as a pillow. Yes to blankets- actually he has a couple and yes to nightlight.

  • Night lights made a huge difference for us this summer! When he wakes up he just puts himself back to sleep most of the time. My favorite is a little triceratops we got at target because it doesn't turn off after 45 mins.

  • DD sleeps with a million and one things. Her Sleep Sheep and Kitty are musts. Then she has her blanket and pacifier. We dont usually do a pillow but we have this past week because she has a bad cold and sleeping flat seems to make her coughing worse.

Also no to nightlights. Or any kind of light. Her bedroom window faces the house next to us and they always keep their side light on at night. She needs blackout curtains otherwise she thinks its still playtime.

  • Added Elmo and Gloworm last night.  I don't think they made a difference.  I'm trying to get him attached to a stuffed dinosaur we call Herbert because he's never been into loveys.

(Scout and Herbert have been in there for awhile.)

B is still not attached to anything, but we've made it to sttn most nights, and motn wakings are brief. DH rubs his back until he falls asleep; I just lie down next to his crib until he falls asleep.
There's hope, even if he doesn't attach to Herbert!

  • He has a blanket my sister knit for him and gave him in the hospital that's been sleeping with for a while. He also has a tiger stuffed animal that he falls asleep with but I go in and take it out before I go to bed. I haven't tried a pillow because I don't trust the little climber not to take advantage of the boost.
