I took femera cd 3-7 and have not gotten a positive opk. I went in for an ultrasound on cd 16 and had only intermediate sized follicles. I returned on cd 20 and had a 13mm on the right and 11mm on the left. My doctor ordered me to inject with ovidrel on cd 23. How do I know that the follicles will continue to grow? Has anyone had their follicles stop growing?
I've been TTC for over 2 years now so I hate to leave anything to chance.
Thanks!
Re: How do you know follicles will continue to grow?
I have PCOS... I was clomid resistant. I did have a normal hsg. Hubby has normal counts and motility so it's a me not ovulating problem. This is my second cycle on femara. The first cycle I had a 19mm and 13mm on cd 13 so this cycle has certainly taken much longer. I realize that every cycle is different and has different timing. But I did have a 13mm on clomid that did not grow anymore. I guess that's why I'm so concerned about this round.
Thanks for your response. I'm a reader so I feel like I've read so many things and probably know most of the probably answers to my questions. I think I post questions just to get confirmation that it can work this time.
I see that you have been through quite a lot as well. It's funny how hard you try to prevent pregnancy for so long and then realize how hard it is to actually become pregnant. I wish you the best of luck!
Thanks for the response speck10. I'm hoping good things for you soon
