Less excitement from DH?!

Can anyone please relate to me right now! I know I'm hormonal and crazy right now but I feel like my DH DOESNT feel very excited or into this pregnancy. We have three kids (two pregnancies) bc we have a set of twins. And he was very active in those pregnancies and has always been sweet and even will let me put my feet up and take a nap or whatever get me my favorite food if I don't feel well. Ect ect. This time around he literally asked me "why are you so cranky and tired" I about LOST IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Anyone else feeling the pain like me?!

  • @Starbuck128‌ , I'm sorry that happened to you!! I hope for both of our sake that our DHs get their asses in gear and realize we need some love and attention! Glad
    Your okay!

  • I feel your pain. It's infuriating! But my DH is always like this when I'm pregnant. I'm convinced that if there is not clear physical evidence of my ailments (like a huge gaping wound or something), that he doesn't think they're real. Sooo whenever I'm pregnant, he's insensitive, defensive, impatient. I seriously thought I was going to rip his head off today! I'm definitely hormonal and struggling with pregnant lady rage, but I think he could cut me a break and maybe ask how I'm feeling or something.

I will say, in his defense, that he does help a lot with the kids. Even when I'm not pregnant, he's a really hands on dad. But goodness, can I just get a little break or special treatment when I'm pregnant with his child & beyond exhausted & nauseous ALL. THE. TIME!? For reals. I feel your pain!

YES YES YES! Exactly the same for me and my DH!!!! At least they are great dads right? (Trying to be positive here) LOL.
  • Oh my gosh @ashmichelle208 I'm glad I'm not alone! And ya that's why I had to throw that in. I don't want to be COMPLETELY ungrateful :P I'm seriously convinced that the reality of pregnancy doesn't sink in with him until the baby is coming out. Haha!
