New to this Board

Hello mamas!

I have been lurking around on this board for a little bit and thought it's about time I introduced myself.

I am a stay at home mom. I live in California with my H and my DS who is 7 months old. My son was born in January and not to long after that, I got KU again! So we are now expecting baby #2(another boy!) My EDD is January 14 (I'm active on the Jan15 BMB)

I had my DS in the hospital and really didn't like that experience. I ended up being somewhat persuaded into getting an epi and eventually I gave in and got one. This time around, I want to have a med-free birth so I'm receiving all my prenatal care at a free standing birth center that a team of amazing midwifes and doulas. I will be giving birth there(possibly a water birth, I haven't decided)

Anyways I look forward to spending more time here

ETA- I wanted to add that I have nothing against hospital births. I think there are a lot of positive things about the hospital as well.
