using Charlie's booster

So I've been cleaning my washing machine (with Charlie's cleaner) before CD loads and using only Charlie's on all of my laundry. Stripped with Charlie's, according to their website. Still having some stink issues, but it's better than it was before. I'm wondering if I need to add it to the soak as well as the wash (in the same compartment as the soap in my FL, right?).

Re: using Charlie's booster

  • You shouldn't have to clean your washer every time if you are using Charlie's on your regular laundry too. Do you have hard water?

  • Yes you only have to clean the washer each time in transition or if you're not using Charlie's on everything. I have found that if your water is even a little but hard you need the booster. It made a big difference for us. Also make sure you're always using the full dose of Charlie's.

  • By soak I guess you mean your rinse? Ttma your rinse/soak. What do you do? What do your diapers look and smell like after that step?

  • I do a soak cycle, then a rinse/spin cycle, then a wash with extra rinse cycle. My diapers have never smelled after being washed, just after getting peed in. I do have hard water, so I bought the booster. Only some of my diapers are smelling still, though not nearly as bad. Should I be adding the booster in the rinse/spin cycle before I do the wash cycle?

  • I just add the booster in my wash cycle.

  • Try the booster.  Just don't tell FL & CD science about it.*
