Yeah, you can totally handle it, its just different than most people think. Saying you "want" them is bizarre to me. They say it the same way you say how want a puppy or something.
Like a puppy, it sounds like a good idea in theory, but its a lot of work and a lot of piss and shit.
I get people saying they want twins, because there's just something cool about them. Like all the twins in my classroom are absolutely best friends. Whether they are same gender or not. It's special. So I see people wanting that.
Planning it, or going for it is something different. Nor would I ever want or try for having two NBs at the same time. Eek.
Honestly I think twin toddlers would be way harder than newborns. But my kid never sleeps and is basically a terror 90% of the time.
Boo I feel like you've got it rough all around. I hope you have people in your life that are willing to step in and say "hey why don't I take care of shit for an hour or two while you go get your nails done or take a nap or read a book or binge watch netflix or something."
For real. You are awesome for keeping it together for this long. I think I recall you saying that you had a GI referral? Was that you, and if so, did it shed any helpful light on DD's eating?
Aww thanks guys, this makes me happy!
I am very lucky to have a MIL close by who is pretty much willing to watch E anytime. I try to limit it to when I need to get shit done but I can call anytime.
Her upper GI study results came back normal so the GI specialist wanted to do an endoscopy. Initially H and I were all for that but when it became more of a reality, it scared us both to put her under anesthesia. So we're holding off for now. If her weight starts dipping (she's 65th percentile now), then we will probably move forward with that.
I know her acid reflux still bothers her even though she's on an adult dose of Prevacid. In the MOTN there is spit up in her crib and her hair smells like stomach acid
Her eating is completely hit or miss. Every once in awhile she'll eat a good amount of food, other times she'll barely touch a thing all day.

Thanks for asking ladies, it means a lot
I'm sorry your DD still isn't sleeping.
