How to rid the worries?

I have a friend that passed away as the result of an ectopic pregnancy, nearly two years ago. Her family did not know she was pregnant and she thought she suddenly had the flu (only hours after I saw her). I am TTC, but can't get it out of my head - what if it happens to me?

Re: How to rid the worries?

  • I understand what you're saying. I need to accept the risks and either take it or leave it. It's just that little bit harder because it's not something that I thought happened often (resulting in fatality).
Thank you for your response :)

  • I'm sorry for the loss of your friend.  It doesn't happen often, so keep that in mind that it's unlikely to happen to you.  If it really grips you that tightly, counseling might be a good route.
