NTTC>35R - Need help with decorating/party ideas

20 years ago, on October 1, my fiance first opened his doors and started straightening backs for thousands of people...yes, he's a chiropractor.

I want to do a patient appreciation week to celebrate, so many of our patients have been around for a long time and will want to celebrate this too (and of course bring in all their friends and family - wink, wink)  That being said, I'm trying to come up with fun ideas of things we can do throughout the week to celebrate.  Keep in  mind that we'll still have the office open all week, and don't want to disrupt the flow too much - more like raising the energy level.  So far I've come up with different theme each day (i.e. ice cream day, popcorn day) and possibly a DIY photo booth.

At the end of the week I'm going to do a press release.  I talked to another chiro office that just did something similar and they suggested a timeline career banner, and of course decorations.  Decorations will be tough as 20 isn't exactly a normal milestone for weddings or birthdays, so there isn't much online that's prefabricated.

Just looking to all you fabulous ladies to see if there's anyone more creative than I with some cool (not too pricy or difficult) ideas.  Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Good ideas- I like the drawing idea too. Joann's has large cardboard numbers you could decorate. I think for treats, cookies, bagels, cider/donuts- simple things are good especially if they have to sit out. Maybe a poster that patients can write how they've been helped? I know it's not really appreciating them but it could be phrased in a cute way.

If anyone is good with crafting you can make those triangle banners they have. You can get blank ones at the dollar store and just add your own letters. If you don't know what I am talking about let me know and I will post an image when I'm not on my iPad.
