Can I join in the fun? As I've been getting to know this board, I've gotten so much good advice and appreciated all the wisdom and wit.
But my UO is that I just can't spend more than $10 on a diaper. The pennypincher in me just can't make it happen no matter how cute it is. This is why almost all of our diapers are used.
My UO. The beach in September is amazing. It's 70 degrees. Empty. Quiet. Big waves. Sun. Empty. No traffic. And the light is different. And hoodies at the beach are the best.
some of my best memories with my dad and sister are spending FREEZING winter days at Jones/Robert Moses or Smith Point beaches on LI taking pictures. All you can see is our faces poking out of our huge jacket and hats.

How is this unpopular? This sounds amazing. I want to come too!!
I am so very jealous of this. My homemade dairy free, soy free, nut free, gluten free PSL was pretty darn good, but I would love to try a salted caramel mocha.

I'm on my way to go get one in a second here. I'll pick it up while mailing my bills ON TIME (booyah!).
I recommend that if you're getting a grande, get TWO PUMPS OF EACH. otherwise there's a total of 8 syrup pumps. and I love it, but that's insanely sweet

I have to get a tall. Anything more is too much caffeine IMO for my delicate state *faints*.
Suddenly my life doesn't seem such a waste,

Also you can let a toddler run forever and not worry about other people. She is loving running free.
I want to go there.
It's actually perfect cuz she runs for a minute then comes across other people and turns around in terror runnin back to us. So long as we herd her away from the water we are good.

Toddler herding....
Seriously. If we only had a good dog for it we could actually sit down. She just follows the sea gulls

I believe insurance should pay for the rental of the same size car that is going in for service.
Someone hit my husband's car in a parking lot a few days ago. He's being great about it and covering the damage (it was his fault and we have video from security to back it up). However, the insurance company is only covering a compact car for rental which is BS. It's a Avalon, which is a full sized sedan. Our two car seats may not even properly fit into a compact car. It may even be unsafe to drive with our rear facing car seat (the passenger seat may actually create a blind spot when it's moved forward enough to accommodate the seat.
I guess the insurance company said that they only need to provide transportation. I told him he should have said we also need to transport two children in the car. If they mention anything about forward facing my son, its not going to be pretty.
I couldn't give two shits about all these limited edition bg prints. I find all these women spending 2-3 times retail just to get one very eye roll worthy. Very smart marketing on cotton babies part.
Mama to a little girl born July 2011 and a little boy born April 2014!
Clarification: I actually do like pumpkin, just not "pumpkin" flavored things. Which generally means cinnamon/nutmeg flavored things. And I dislike pumpkin beer.
And about six years ago someone gave me a piece of pumpkin bread from Starbucks. It had something wrong with it - detergent or cleaning product on it - and I got a big mouthful. It has ruined pumpkin baked goods for me.
My iPad originally corrected that to "I dislike pumping beer."
If I could pump beer, I would totally invest in a hospital grade pump.
I dislike pumpkin-scented things, so I am gun-shy about trying anything pumpkin-flavored.
In fact, I think pumpkin-flavored things are so dodgy, when I worked at Starbucks, I used to spray the pumpkin bread with cleaning products in order to ruin the taste for everyone.

I made some wipes really quickly when ds was just a couple months old. But they drive me batty because the are sewn wonky. I want to redo them. This is stupid because they are just for poop and pee. And they are completely functional.
