I know many of you (and know all of you stalker-style), but I'll do brief intro just in case...

We've been ttc for just over 2 years now and are seeing an RE at SG.  About a year ago we were diagnosed with UI.  Since then I've had 2 clomid IUIs, 1 failed IVF cycle (where only 3 eggs were retrieved), 1 IVF cycle converted to an IUI, and 1 IVF cycle flat out cancelled for no response.  Some of my stats are really good: CD 3 FSH, AFC of 21.  But I have a crappy AMH of .51 at 33 years old.  I've never been pregnant and I don't respond to stims worth a shit. 

I have a WTF appointment on Monday.  I expect to get the DE talk.  FWIW, I can get on board with DE.  I have witnessed first hand how little genetics matter in the end.  But....my insurance will cover 2 more IVFs, but nothing involving donor eggs.  While we have major concerns about the financial aspects of DE, my husband is super on board if it means he gets his wife back.  I can admit that she has been MIA since our first failed IVF in March of this year. 

He has agreed to hear what the RE has to say and has also agreed to get a second opinion.  We'll likely get 2nd opinions from Sher and RMANJ.  I plan to ask my RE about mini IVF and estrogen priming.  Others have suggested that.  Our cycles so far have been antagonist and MDL.

I'm sorry you find yourself here!!  I barely respond myself.  

I cycled at SIRM LV for my first 4 IVFs with my OE's.  Out of those first 4 IVFs with max stims I only had two transfers.  I think we could have possibly found success had we known about DH's Balanced Translocation and we used donor sperm.  

After our failed DE cycle, we attempted estrogen priming and low dose stims.  I have seen women over the years find success with this protocol.  I was ultimately cancelled because my follicle stopped growing and my E2 fell.  

This cycle we are doing estrogen and testosterone priming. Only time will tell if this cycle will be a success. I know that SIRM physicians will not consider this protocol because they believe the testosterone poorly affects egg quality.  

Good Luck!! I think SIRM is a great clinic and I think a second opinion is a great idea.  Hang in there!!

I am so very sorry. You will be welcomed here with open arms. I hope your consults and WTF give you hope for future cycles. There are other poor responders here who might be able to give you ideas of questions to ask and protocols to research.

I responded more favorably than you, but ended up having the best success with estrogen priming and the addition of HGH. Wishing you the best.

Welcome! Out of curiosity... Have you had a lap to check for endo? I could be way off, but since I have endo I often think others may too. lol I ask because of your good AFC but not as great AMH. In my siggy you'll see my AMH has varied and that's because when there is endo growth it can cause your AMH to be lower. (After a few months on OCP my AMH went up.) Any way, like I said I could be way off.

@DoublePortion‌ I have been suspicious of endo. I have literally always had painful periods, but never a heavy flow. At my last two baselines, I've had cysts on my ovaries despite being on BCPs. My RE isn't big on laps. Thanks for reminding me. I need to ask again based on my most recent news.

Welcome and sorry you find yourself here-

While I am no longer trying with OE, I am currently cycling for a FET with SIRM NJ.

I really like the RE (Dr. Peters) and my nurse; the practice runs smoothly and I get very prompt responses from them.

I'm not sure if this helps, but I wanted to let you know my experience so far.
