Success after IF

NSAIF insurance vent

I'm posting this here because I know a lot of us have had insurance issues and I hope someone can help.

So my DH has glacouma and has to go to an eye specialist 2x a year for testing. Every time, I get a bill and then like 5 months later get another bill that the insurance rejected some of the charges and I have to pay a lot more.

I just don't understand this and it really pisses me off. Should I find him a new eye specialist? Should I ask my instance provider what the fuck I'm supposed to do?

My DH is 38 years old and he's going to have glacouma his whole life. I don't want to deal with these f'd up bills forever. Can't they tell me how much this will cost in advance so I can at least save my HSA for it?

I feel like they are doing messed up billing bc most glacouma patients are elderly and on Medicare.
IVF, acupuncture, meditation and a miracle.

  • Hummmm, do you have a list of in-network providers? Is he possibly seeing someone out of network, and that's why there are billing issues?

  • I would definitely call and talk to the insurance company. Make sure that thy know the diagnosis and make sure the Dr office is sending correct info too. If they aren't getting the right diagnosis codes maybe the billing isn't getting done right. I think it would be worth the time to look into it.
