Anyone use acupuncture?

Has anyone tried accupunture for this IF stuff? I have a short luteal phase and I am wondering if that will help! 
DS: Born November 2011
TTC #2 since April '13
DH 35, Me: 34
DX: Unexplained Secondary Infertility, Slight DOR
Sept 14 - IUI (Clomid + Ovidrel) = BFN
Oct 14 - IUI (Clomid + Ovidrel + Progesterone) = BFN
Nov 14- Benched due to cysts Looking for New Doc
Feb - IUI #3 (Letrozole + Ovridrel)
March/April - IVF #1 - Antagonist Protocol - Follistim+HGH+Low Dose HCG - 11R/9M/5F - 2 8 cell 3dtransfer - BFN on April 23, 2014

    I did on the cycle I conceived my twins. I didn't do it for a luteal phase defect, but for overall TTC. It was performed by my RE.

    It was amazing, and I went two or three times while I was pregnant.

    My RE swears by it and it really, really helped with my anxiety. I say go for it!

    I have been thinking of trying this for general TTC but I also have a short luteal phase. I'm not sure how to go about finding an acupuncturist that specializes in IF. Off to google search!! :)

    So it really helps for stress? I guess I'm curious how it works to help with IF.

    About me  2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!

    Acupuncture is one of those things that I've always wanted to side-eye but I've heard of legit scientific studies showing it helps with IF. Soooooo no, I haven't tried it, but might consider it.

    At this point I'd try almost anything although the cost is pretty high for the acupuncturist. I'll have to wait to see if we can pull it off considering we are trying to save for the RE and whatever tx is ahead of us. @lilmac2929‌ you'll have to keep me updated!

    I have my third appt tomorrow. It was recommended to me by the RE. Studies have shown it to have a statistically significant effect with IVF studies. I figured it can't hurt so why not. I really like it so far and if nothing else it is really relaxing.

    I just had it yesterday at my chiro appt. Well, he says it does the same thing but he uses this little electronic thing... idk.

    Anyways, I hope it works. I have heard success stories... and fail stories.

    I had my first session last week. My insurance covers 80% for 6 sessions, so I figured I would give it a try and it can't hurt. I've got recurrent loss, not IF though, but right now we are just working on getting my uterus back up to snuf.

    DD 15.07.2012

    BFP #2 01.18.2014, MMC 04.10.2014 15w5d

    BFP #3 07.18.2014, MC 07.31.2014 5w6d

    DX: RPL due to submucosal uterine fibroid. Hysteroscopy 12/16. All clear!

    I had my first appointment and I loved it! The guy was AMAZING.  He read me like a book.  He said i may feel an emotional release.  The next day during Zumba I totally cried! Freaked me out but I will take it as a good thing?? But I am hooked! :)
