Trouble TTC

*~*WTF Wednesday*~*

WTF town we're moving to? Why can't it be easy to find a rental that accepts dogs? Also, let's work on size. We either find a 4 bedroom house on 2 acres or a basement room in someone's house or a studio apartment. Let's find some middle ground.

Re: *~*WTF Wednesday*~*

  • WTF ex RE? You could have run those 2 genetic tests on my H when I asked for them. I get that you don't normally run them, but turns out he tested positive for one of them. It doesn't change our DX or the fact that we still need to do IVF with ICSI, but he would have never known he had it. Now he will be able to treat it. Thank god for REs that don't just follow protocol and see that every patient is different.

  • WTF dream I had last night? I dreamt I finally got my BFP and all the glory that comes with it. DH and I were so happy...hugging and crying, thinking of fun ways to tell our family, looking up my EDD and I was even starting to write my BFP announcement on here and share my happiness with my support system and BAM I wake up. Such a happy dream...then, once I woke up, a cruel reality check.

  • WTF to my landlord, who won't let us sign another lease and insists we go month-to-month. This, combined with recent building inspections, make it pretty clear that she's planning on selling our building. Not only will I be heartbroken to leave my beloved, affordable apartment, the idea of getting slapped with a 30-day move-out notice has me absolutely panicked.
  • @AnnaClaire256‌ I'm so sorry :( My OOP rant yesterday was basically the same thing so I can relate. @typo31‌ yeah that sucks. I hate rental hunting!

  • There are so many WTFW topics, how to chose just one. I guess I'll go with WTF cycle....I had a 14 day cycle and my ulatrasound ysterday (CD3) and it was completely normal and my blood work came back normal as well. RE has no idea why my ALMOST ALWAYS normal cycle would only last 2 weeks. I'm going with the idea that I had a cyst from my last clomid cycle and the hormones from the cyst f-up my cycle.

Also, WTF RE for reminding me only 25% of my eggs are of good quality at 33 and that we MUST get agresssive with injectables and IUIs.

And one more...WTF DH why can't you agree to a freaking IUI if I ovulate during the week? You claim "it's stressful" OMG I have to go through all this emotional shit, constant doctors appointments and you can't get off work to give a god damn sample, which BTW provides you with an orgasm so technically it is pleasurable for you? I just get wands shoved up my vagina, stuck in the arm for blood work and emotional distress from the hormones....WTF, WTF.\

@Hollowvic‌ I hate it when doctors do not think outside the box and test for everything. If you are going to draw blood then test for everything!
@Ashlee8809 I totally feel your pain. I almost quit my last semester of grad school. Once you are done you will be so happy you went through all the stress and pain of school.

    Me: 33, DH: 32

    TTC: 2 years
    Fertility blood tests all normal
    Tilted uterus
    3 day ultrasound 17 follicles
    HSG: 11/13/13- tubes open
DH SA: SUPER sperm (145 million, 84% motility, 22% morphology)
All infection disease and immunity blood tests NORMAL

FIRST IUI May 2014: 100 mg Clomid days 5-9, third ultrasound CD 13 revealed four follicles 27, 24 and 20 and 13mm. Trigger shot May 28 with IUI May 29 and 30 (fingers crossed) - BFN started spotting 11DPO :(

IUI #2 B2B 6/23 and 6/24, three mature eggs and 130 million sperm! FX this is the month!  BFN 7/8

3rd cycle benched due to cysts - TI with OPK tests -  BFN

3rd mediated cycle: Clomid+Trigger+TI  (three follies left side, one on right as usual....what the hell right ovary get it together and produce some damn follicles!) 7DPO progesterone level 43 with NO suppositories YAY for a natural strong ovulation. Beta canceled started spotting 13DPO - Third time is not a CHARM! 14 day cycle WTF! Everything looks normal - RE wants to start injectables next cycle so this cycle I'm benched

Officially benched until March....but still plan on trying the baking soda douche due to my excessive and thick CM

JANUARY SIGGY CHALLENGE...This is so me!

  • @Ashlee8809 @rainbowbridge14 I completely agree!  The woman who did my blood draw last week must have hit the valve because I have a huge ugly bruise a week later.  To make matters worse when I had to have blood drawn again yesterday the woman couldn't use that vein (my one good one) because it was so shot from last week and had to draw from my hand!  I hate the hand ones...and no my hand is bruised and sore.  I swear phlebotamists...get your acts together!

  • @iputketchuponketchup Whhaaa?? I would DTD anyway, I mean what can they do to you if Mr. K doesn't get his repeat on time? I can't imagine an office telling you to abstain from getting pregnant so they can confirm a good SA when the purpose is to get you pregnant. And...if they can't see your left ovary at this time, did they think that your OPK+ might have been you about to O from the left?

Who tells the half naked infertility patient "Look at all those infants"? And what kind of RE's office plasters the wall with success stories to rub in the faces of all the women who aren't there yet and are afraid of whether they'll ever get there?

@bluejoan I am SO mad at your ultrasound tech trainee and even more so at the people who designed her training program so that she was given permission to use huge, solid medical devices in the vaginas of helpless infertile women before she had a clue about women's anatomy. That is so unfair! I would lodge a big complaint. :(

(just want to point out THANK GOD for this thread today!)

WTF Pharmacy! After all the back and forth with insurance not wanting to cover Femara this month, the pharmacist came out to tell me it would be ready in a couple mins and that my insurance said they would cover it. (YAY!) Then I see her coming back out. OOPS we dont have it in stock! SAY WHAT? No problem I ordered it and it will be here tomorrow before 3 for sure. (So Today) NO CALL Hubby goes to check on it and it wont be ready til tomorrow after 3! FML Today is CD3 I should have started it today..... I couldnt get it before because RE didnt order my increased dose til CD2. CD4-8 should be ok right? I really am so pissed. I couldnt do anything of course because I was at work til after the pharmacy closed. SMH

Edit: Maybe since real flow didnt start til monday evening it will still be considered CD3 tomorrow
