Stretch marks over night?!

Wait... What? Or is this something else? It's not a mark from my pants or anything and it wasn't there last night... I might be slightly freaking out but I'm not sure. I noticed today also that I'm showing a bit more... I'm a ftm and 5 months Thursday... Ahh!! Help!

    I vote stretch marks. They have to show up sometime, one day you don't see any and the next you do. Sorry, it is going to happen to all of us at some point. :-( And the jury is still out as to whether we can do anything about it!

    Yep, and add me to the stretch mark group while your at it. Some of mine are really purple and some are just coming in and I'm sure they will get that way too. FWIW I have constantly put lotion on because I have had a lot of itching and that didn't stop me from getting them.

    Team stretch marks. Mine popped up overnight with #1. It sucks but you get used to it.

    I've gained/lost a ton of weight since being a teenager, so I already have a ton of stretch marks on my tummy/everywhere.  I was taking a bath over the weekend and noticed BRAND NEW DARK PURPLE STRETCH MARKS at the very very bottom of the tummy.  wtheck, baby, you can't use my old stretch marks?!

    Anyway, your tummy is cute.

    Looks like a stretchie to me! Mine usually pop up fast too. All the sudden ill get bigger overnight and wake up with those bad boys. Tiger stripes lady!! If they itch lotion them up everyday. It will help.

    Aah at about 13 weeks I woke up to stretch marks all over my tummy! It was a bit of a shock considering how sudden and early it was! But then they disappeared as fast as they came on. I'm sure it's only a matter of time before they're back in force!

    I'm also a FTM and in the same boat! I have been huge now for two weeks, and I'm only 17W. People think I'm lying about how far along I am!

    Mine popped up overnight with #1.... at 37 weeks. I was not amused.

    I hate tiny purple lines, but they look more like spider veins than stretch marks.  I'm hoping for no belly stretch marks, but we'll see how it goes...
