Since I'm already rage-filled, I'll keep going. We have team-building tomorrow for our group at work. Every single year, one of our team members bails on us. WTF dude? This is the one truly fun event that gets us out of the office. Why don't you want to hang with us? And why is it even allowed to skip the team-building event?

We can cut these idiots together. No freakin' way was this not sitting in their warehouse when I first asked about shipping status. Otherwise, explain how six hours after emailing back and forth with them and being told to be patient, I finally get a shipping notice on an item that apparently hadn't even arrived at their distribution center yet.

My dogs are seriously driving me crazy. Between the puke fest after I picked them up last week and my other dog deciding that the bedroom is her new bathroom, I'm ready to sell them (kidding). I love them and they really are good dogs. Except the barking. But they are destroying my already not that nice house.

On a more positive note, my neighbor asked me if I wanted him to cut my grass for the rest of the summer while he cuts his. I'm so thankful. Even though H is living in an apartment, he took the lawn mower. So my grass hadn't been cut in. Almost 2 months. It was so gross.

At school drop off this morning, a dad that I have never met before said,"When are you due? Last May? You are huge! I don't think I've ever seen a belly that big before?!" Thanks asshole. That's exactly what very pregnant woman wants to hear. Another mom glared at him and then told me that I look amazing. I will now go eat my feelings.

I will never understand why people make comments to pregnant women. Would you tell someone she was too fat, thin, tall, short, etc? No, but the minute you're carrying a child, you're open to every thought that enters other people's small minds.

Ugh, being a supervisor is not all it is cracked up to be!  I don't get it, I have an employee that despite talking to her about her hours, is working less than 40 hours a week.  Um, I hired you for 40 hours and shit isn't getting done.  If you don't want to be let go, then why don't you start working 40 hours.  Oh and those benefits that you are SO excited about, won't kick in if you don't start working the right amount of hours.  How is it this hard to understand?

what furniture stores are near you? and do you have any clothing items already or are we starting from scratch, what's the weather?

We only have local furniture stores, but I think we are going to make a trip to KC and go to either Ikea or Nebraska Furniture Mart.  DH and I cannot agree on what we want, but we need something because this whole mattress on the floor thing is no longer working.

I have a shirt for DH already it is plaid and the primary color is maroon, but it has purple, yellow, orange, red, and off white in it.  The weather is starting to cool off and the photographer we want isn't available until end of September.  So probably cooler.  I am thinking jeans for us and jeggings or Jeans for Luci.

On Saturday Screaming Owl cancelled my order, from August, for Maya's Elsa costume. I'm never ordering from them again. Now I'm back to square one for Halloween.

I have a client who is a hoarder. I just spent an hour at her house and I want to bathe in bleach. It wouldn't be so bad if she was nice, but she's cranky and rude. I dread meeting with her.

One night stand is my grandpa's antique table, and the other is a tv tray.  Yup.  Gorgeous, I know.

@jenndub maybe he felt comfortable saying that because you're adorable and all baby   One time someone said something awful to me, and I finally snapped and pointed out that I was clearly overweight before I got pregnant, so the fat jokes do hurt my feelings.


I made a grave mistake.  I'm working from home today and had to take W for her 2y checkup.  She got a flu shot and was so very sad.  I was standing in the babysitters and she would not let go or quit whimpering.  I brought her home for her nap with plans to take her back after.  That was at 11.  The monster is up there kicking and screaming and it's 12:45.... no nap yet.  So let's say she wakes up at 3.  I can't really take her back to the sitter for 2 hours.  WAT DID I DO???????  fawk

@willy_gert I would find the nicest looking thing DH has, match something LO has, then buy myself something to match it.  That way I would feel good and it would minimize the spending.  That's what I did for ours, haha.  I'm the worst wife ever :P

On a separate note..... I have 10,000 complaints and I don't really know where to start.  Some of them are just ridiculous.

Grropdealz, & https://jillybugsboutique.storenvy.com/ have some right now. Brickyardbuffalo.com had them last week for $20. I have seen a bunch at Target too. Also, now that Halloween is starting to come out, but everyone hasn't bought everything yet, you should be able to find them pretty easy.

Work sucks. Our acting CFO who doesn't want the long term job is refusing to push things through with 2 weeks left in the fiscal year. She is driving me insane with the extra work she is throwing at us because she doesn't like the way we did it in the past. Umm...dude? You don't want the job, right? So stop trying to enforce changes for the sake of change when you don't plan to stay to implement. Go away now.

Our fun, relaxing (somewhat) vacation is no longer. My mother will be joining us from Thursday - Sunday and my aunt & uncle will be arriving Friday night and leaving Tuesday. That legit leave only our travel days where we are by ourselves. 

It is really hard to tell people, no, you can't come to Disney World with us.

We aren't doing a bday party for Winn next year.  I am going to copy @linzeek and do a special adventure day all about her.

I want to throw dog turds at my MIL for 20 reasons.  First, she decided the party was a family reunion for her side and she invited 20 extra people.  All RSVP'd and 15 didn't show up.  Add those to the other million pepople that text-canceled an hour before the party and that equaled over $150 in wasted food.  My three platters of Jimmy Johns sandwiches alone were $160 and two were wasted

We had the party at a state park, and all of DH's family drove freaking separate.  Like, mom in one car, dad in another, grandma in one, sister in another....they all left the same house and were going back to the same house.  MIL knew we were paying the entry fees, what were they thinking?  SIX of his sister's friends all "stopped by" in separate cars by to say bye to his sister (she lives in CO).  Based on who we invited, we figured it would cost $50 ($5-$7 per car).  $121 was the total.  WHAT THE FUCK.

My final two complaints are:

When MIL left, she took a platter of JJ sandwiches and a 6 pack container of cupcakes    She never asked me or DH if she could... DH said she made a laughing comment that she better take them off our hands "since Sam ordered way too many".  ^#(^  As if I miscounted her no-show guests that RSVP'd!  DH figured I told her she could.  Anyway, that was $50 in sandwiches!  And I was planning to take all leftovers to work for my shop guys

She also took one of the gifts someone bought for Winn.  A friend that works at a publisher brought two canvas bags full of childrens books.  I was so freaking excited.  She took them with her!  WHAT?!  I honestly feel like crying (over books, so dumb) every time I think about it.  I keep fantasizing about what to say to her about them.  WHY??!?!?  I seriously don't fucking get it, and I'm so angry with her that I am not going to ask her why on earth she took them until I cool down. 

She obviously felt bad because she literally texted me every hour after the party ended with random texts.  I never answered any of them.  I am so upset with her.  There are a million other things she did, but it all boils down to them being rude, obnoxious guests.  (FIL was wiping his finger on the cake platter, licking, wiping, licking.......... while there was still cake on it.)

Go to NFM!!!  And let me live vicariously through you.  We lived in KC 7 years ago (wow, that's longer than I thought) and I really miss that place.  We're still using the living room furniture, kitchen table and dining room table we bought there.  And we bought them all on clearance or super cheap.

I would go with a simple cardi and cami paired with jeans, something you already have hopefully. Since these are for his fundraiser, I would tie in some green - scarf, bow, ribbon, on all of you. (Your dh can remove his ribbon for most of the pics, but a good one with for the fundraiser pic). Put L in a fun cutesy fall outfit that she will get lots of wear out of this year.

I'm not loving the tunic I picked for L but was trying to do this fast and only with Target/ Old Navy. Those pants are my fav though. Yellow with little white dots! So fun.
