I have one scheduled for Friday. How painful is it really? DH can't come, it's two hours away from my house, and I don't want to ask someone to drive me. My best friend lives near the hospital so I can always go there after. I'm wondering how much pain and how long it will last.
Re: HSG?
Kid #1 - 09/03/12
Hysteroscopy #10 - scar tissue grew back reblocking my right tube
#11 or IVF with scarring still inside?
1 lone embryo from September 2016 retreival, dx with Trisomy 16, starting fresh
But...I rested afterward and could have driven home after a bit. And...I think I am the rare person that had a tough time.
In all honesty - it was extremely painful for me. I had taken the ibuprofen ahead of time too. I don't recall how long it took but you can get through it. I had to rest for a while afterwards, my blood pressure went a little wonky, but after a while I think I would have been ok to drive though I appreciated that I didn't have to. If you have another option for a ride I'd go with it, just because you might start cramping on your way home. Good luck.
