Bald spot?!?!?

So I keep trying to put LO in her crib. Some nights it's okay other nights she won't sleep on her tummy but insists on rolling over. Then gets frustrated. So we end up putting her back in her RnP. I think the RnP has made her bald spot so much worse than it was :( Anyone else using RnP's notice a bald spot? Bows can't even cover that up lol feels like she had a really bad haircut!

Re: Bald spot?!?!?

  • We've been in the crib all along and have a bald spot too. Luckily , he doesn't have much hair to begin with so it isn't a noticeable difference.

  • I thought this was going to be about your own bald spots with pp hair loss (clearly I'm looking for someone to commiserate with me).

My pp hair loss is pretty bad. Didn't notice it until I got my hair cut 2 months ago. Ever since then it just seems to keep coming out. I hope it stops at some point

  • My hair is all falling out and is everywhere pp. My daughter has a weird bald spot on the side of her head, with a thick curly spot on top, looks crazy.
  • Same. DD has a line all the way across the back of her head from where she moves her head back and forth in the crib. She's starting to get fuzz on it now - only a baby could pull that look off.

  • This is normal. Pretty much all babies rub out their hair as they start rolling and moving their head around more. It'll grow back in eventually.

  • DD has this from moving her head back and forth in the PnP.  We call the hair do the reverse Friar Tuck.

  • My son looked like Friar Tuck when he was born, and by the time he was 2 months old I'd started calling him Patches. DD's hair isn't quite that bad but she does have a pretty big spot right in the back. It's just hair. It'll fill back in soon.

  • DD2 doesn't have it yet but DD1 had the exact same bald spot. She slept in the cosleeper.

  • Mine has a bald spot and a flat spot. She'll probably need a helmet. :(

  • @kendy20 first if all, your daughter is adorable!
    It is normal!
What's not normal is that my son's hair went from dark brown to blonde, but one patch in that same area is still brown. So weird. It's finally falling out now. Lol
  • @deanna1313‌ lol my sisters hair did the same thing. She's my twin and I've always had red hair but he went from dark to super blonde!

  • @kendy20‌ that's funny! Well, at least he's not the only one.
  • My LO had the same bald soot and has been a crib sleeper from day one. Totally normal :)
