I have been having this flutter feeling under my left breast that will come several times a day and last for 10-20 seconds. I know it is too high to be the baby but any ideas on what it can be or if anyone else has felt this?
I'm really not sure. I know last pregnancy, that whole area just went numb and our midwife said it was just nerves being stretched around, so maybe it is kind of the same thing??
Oh yeah, that happened to me, too. It was so annoying at the time, but I completely forgot about it.
Phantom flutters, maybe? Or a light muscle spasm? I get them sometimes too. Mine are usually on the right or left though and echo where DS had pushed out in the last month of his womb sentence.
Left breast fluttering is likely the heart. Palpitations are very common during pregnancy, and I have them all the time. It's usually nothing to worry about, but wouldn't hurt mentioning to your doc, especially if you've ever had any cardiac diagnoses like a murmur.
You are incredibly lucky. I have a needle stabbing pain in my left breast. The only way to alleviate the pain is to massage it...massaging makes me leak (tmi, so sorry)
