I am thinking the same thing. We have a "rock and play" sleeper and a bassinet in our room. I guess I will keep the rock n play downstairs. Everyone has told me they are AMAZING this is our 4th baby and I don't see that they can be that amazing...we shall see lol.
We used a pack-n-play with the bassinet downstairs in our living room and upstairs in the master bedroom. DD slept/napped in it and we changed diapers in it. I don't see any reason you'd need a portable bassinet as well.

We have the rock n play portable bassinet upstairs in our bedroom and will probably keep the PNP downstairs. I got both for my shower and plan on using them unless baby hates one or the other.
