Re: Back to square one...

  • I should also add that I guess I haven't technically gotten an infertility dx, but we have been trying for over a year and a half without ANY glimmer of hope. I feel bad posting here because I know that this is a board for those with a dx. Thank you ladies for your help.
  • I'm sorry :( I hope you can get a Dx and Tx soon.

  • I am sorry that I don't meet the requirements to be an accepted member of this board and that I have wasted your time with my insignificant problems.

I still wish you all the best of luck in your infertility journey, but don't worry, you won't hear from me again.

  • Honestly, I don't think you can say that you have unexplained IF if you haven't gotten half of the testing done yet.

I agree with @iPutKetchupOnKetchup‌, part of your post (the part she bolded) came off as pretty snotty. We try to give people detailed advice, so if you completely discard what we say and then ask for support, it's hard to give for some of us.

I want you to feel supported, and you're welcome to post here, you just might want to think about some things if you want to be a part of the community.

  • Um completely missed that part (see Ketchup's post) because I went straight to the bullet points. I also was unfamiliar with your back story on here. No one has been rude to you or anything. Being passive aggressive to a reg here (KETCHUP) and then posting a half-assed GBCB trying to tell us off is unacceptable. You need to apologize, GO SEE AN RE, and calm down. Come back to this board when you have completed those three things (or at least have started the steps to get to an RE).

  • It's good that you recognize endo does not always come with pain. In fact, it has been shown that the severity of endo is not directly related to the amount of pain suffered from it. It's more of a good luck/bad luck kind of thing. I would hope an OBGYN would recognize that. Endo often has serious effects on fertility, so I think it is important  to find a doctor (RE) who understands endo at least as well as the patient and who has the skills to treat it appropriately if necessary.

Any time a poster tries to steer or predetermine the kinds of answers they receive, it shows a lack of respect for the fact that other people are investing their time and care into sharing their knowledge and experience. I agree that the next step is to see an RE.

If you cannot afford it at this time or have not yet been able to get through the red tape of your insurance, I feel for you - it must be so frustrating not to be able to seek the care you need. We are here for you as you go through this tough time. I hope you are able to have a smooth path to the RE.
