Decided we probably need a running thread for this! Post here every time you see the doc, which is getting pretty frequent for some of us

2. Almost 2 cm, 90% effaced. Baby head down at minus 2 station.
3. Dr said my mucus plug felt like it was about to come out. He said I might make it through the weekend, but that 10 days was pushing it!!
37w2d today.
2. Any dilation? Effacement? Babys positon?
No dilation as of last week. OB will check again at 39 weeks unless we feel a need otherwise. Baby is head down!

Nothing to report really. Measuring between 36 and 37 weeks, heartbeat of 150!
ETA: oh! And Strep B test came back negative. \:D/

3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? LO is measuring right around the 50% range so I have another growth scan right before my due date. The doctor was a little stumped at the size difference between DS1 (10th percentile the whole pregnancy) and this one.
2. Didn't check today, but we will at my next appt on Thursday... I was dilated a finger tip @ 35w1d.
3. Dr said she is going to get my delivery time frame approved at the hospital... probablt induce between 38-39 weeks due to GDM.... 38 weeks is next week!!!!!!!! I'll find out more at my appt on Thurs. \:D/
2. Any dilation? Effacement? Baby's position? He is head down, waiting til week 38 to get checked for dilation, though I have a feeling I am already starting to dilate a bit.
3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? Dr. is pretty mum though this week I am going to ask if I can get a prediction on size, My hubby is 6'4 and was almost 9 lb, I am 5'4 with tiny hips, I hope LO takes after me
1. How many weeks are you? 37 weeks, 3 days - Had doctor's appt. today!
2. Any dilation? Effacement? Babys positon? - No dilation, apparently cervix is still closed, but doctor said that is not unusual and she has had women who have gone into labor the same day she did a check and said no dilation and baby isn't coming any time soon. Baby is still head down but sitting high - hasn't dropped yet. Group Strep B came back positive (thanks to all who commented on my post about that and offered some good tips) - but doctor today said not to worry and really big thing is to just when I go into labor - try to get to hospital maybe a little sooner than planned - so enough time to get antibiotics (though she's had many patients that didn't get antibiotics and baby was fine) and/or go immediately if water breaks. Baby is measuring 37-38 weeks, so right on track.
3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? Nothing really - she said everything looks good and she's okay if at 39 weeks and still seeing no activity - I want to try accupuncture, etc....she also smilingly mentioned that what got us here is never a bad thing for getting things moving - love how honest my doctor is (I've seen most in the practice) but the one today is my actual doctor and she's great.

3. Midwife thinks she is lower than what is average for 37 weeks.
2. Any dilation? Effacement? Babys positon? Dilated 4 cm, thinned a bunch. Baby is head down and doctor could feel her wiggling her fingers when she was checking my cervix- she has her hand up on her head apparently...weird.
3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? I am also high risk for having preterm birth...my last baby came at 36 weeks. I am praying to make it at least one more week but would be thrilled if I could get past 36 weeks for baby's sake. Meds seems to be working to at least slow down my contractions. I seem to cycle in and out of having contractions...lots of pressure and I can feel her head pushing on my cervix...blah
2. Any dilation? Effacement? Babys positon? Dilated "a stretchy centimeter" and 80% effaced. Baby is very, very low, at +1 station.
3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? Midwife doubts I'll make it to my due date. That's fine with me, and what I expected since my son was eleven days early. But now I'm afraid I won't even make it to full term! 80% effaced is a ton!!!
I never got checks this early with my son, and I didn't ask for one today. The midwife was already down there doing my GBS swab and just checked. I wish she hadn't.

Dr won't check till 39wks, LO has been head down since 7 months
3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Since DS was late this little one maybe late too. I doubt it since DS was a lazy baby this little girl is anything but that.
Predictions?
1. 35w5d
2. Haven't been checked for dilation/effacement yet. Baby is no longer breech (yay!) and is head down as of last week but is now sunny side up. DS was this position as well, we'll figure it out.
3. I'm measuring 36 weeks, so right on track. Dr. said I may want to consider cutting back on my current long commute soon.
4. My own prediction is that I go a week early...but who knows.

Haven't had any cervical checks yet but baby is head down and low in position.

Everything looks great and she predicts my anxiety-induced high BP readings are over and done with now that we had our successful appointment today! I go back on Tuesday but she doesn't think I'll need to be induced if things stay as-is, which is AWESOME!

Dialted, no mention of efacement, baby is head down but not fully dropped

Dr said I am likely to go full term, they tested for Strep B also. And even though I am uncomfortable as ANYTHING!!! She is fine and weight is fine

2. Not been checked yet, im sure that will happen next week when I get 'the swab'.. baby is head down, and I only know that cause I feel hiccups in my bag
3. We talked about size today- she's measuring right on for 35 weeks, which is great- he still thinks she'll be 'good sized' esp with my history or 9 & 10 lb babies

At my appointment I was 36 weeks 1 day!

No dilation yet but I'm 10% effaced, baby is head down and at -2.

Lol my midwife was trying to feel my cervix and I was having a hard time relaxing my muscles, she said I have lots of power up there and it well make it easier to push. But I need to learn to relax my muscles too. Also, my cervix is already getting soft.
Predictions?
They will check my dilation and effacement next week and see how I have progressed, then they may have a prediction! Can't wait!!
2. Got my cervix measured today. Baby's head is down there. Dr felt it which hurt. No dilation or anything. There's plenty of room and she's in a good position.

3. Doctor said if I didn't go between now and next Wednesday that I am scheduled for an induction on that morning. He thinks I will go before then.
2. 1 cm, soft cervix (didn't give %). She could feel the babies head!
3. She didn't say anything other than see ya next week! So I guess that's her prediction.

3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? Had growth u/s and baby is measuring 6 days ahead and about 7lbs, 6 oz, give or take a half a pound, which puts her in the 73rd percentile. I'm a little bit worried about pushing out a bigger baby than DS but hoping her growth slows down in the next 3 weeks.

1&1/2 cm dilated with 50% effacement. Baby's head has been down for a few weeks now.

He did another weight estimate. At 32 weeks she was measuring "average", and now she's measuring on the higher end, 8lbs already... But based on my other babies he thinks she's bigger.

2. Any dilation? Effacement? Babys positon? 1.5-2 cm dilated, 60-70% effaced, and doctor estimated baby is at -2 station.
3. Did the Dr say anything interesting? Predictions? He could feel the baby's head and said he's low down in my pelvis. He also said he thinks baby will be really long (just like daddy).
