Is it possible to record the heartbeat on an iphone at 7/8 weeks ultrasound?

Just curious to know if this is possible... I'm so excited and scared all at once, as I miscarried at 6 weeks september 2013 and never got the chance to hear the heart...

    if you can hear it out loud your phone can record it

    At my previous Dr apt's they didn't use the doppler but allowed us to listen to the heartbeat via the u/s machine, so if you are having an u/s then maybe!

    You likely will not hear the heartbeat. We did (and will do this time) an u/s to see it, but we didn't try to hear with doppler until 12 weeks.

    My SIL sent me one, she used the voice memo app in her iPhone. I'm assuming she heard it out loud of course. But I have no experience.

    With my first, I had an ultrasound around 6w5d and we were able to hear the heartbeat. Take a video of the u/s or do a voice memo. Good luck! :)

    I had an ultrasound last week at 6w3d and the doctor was the one who suggested I record the heartbeat with my phone. So, yes! It's possible. I have listened to that little heartbeat a gazillion times over now :).

    Thanks so much! I did IVF, so they will use doppler to confirm heartbeat! I will record it for sure, joefully spund comes out good! Thanks again!!!

    Thanks for the great info ladies- I am getting my first US tomorrow (yay!) and am SO excited/nervous. We are 7 weeks so I'm hopefull that the heartbeat will be heard. Wish us luck!!

    Doctor gave me a picture, and I was so emotional that i forgot to record the heartbeat!!! Lol but it was loud and strong, sooooo beautiful a sound to my ears!!! ❤️

    I wasn't allowed to record at all at my office. DH got caught one time and they scolded him. It's a magical sound though.

    What a jerk!? Mine was like "did you get it??" You are paying them and it's your baby. So stupid.
