My husband and I have only recently started trying to conceive, but I had an OBGYN tell me the last time I went in that I likely had endometriosis. I didn't opt to get the biopsy or surgery to know for sure, but if I do have endometriosis, how difficult might it be for me to get pregnant?

As the ladies kindly pointed out, there's no way to tell if there's an issue except for you to try to conceive. Plenty of women with endometriosis have no trouble conceiving at all. For some women with infertility, endometriosis can be a primary or contributing factor to their inability to conceive. But there's no way to predict infertility simply from a suspected diagnosis - just go have sex and see what happens.
If it DOES take longer than it should (a year, or 6 months if >35 years old), it's a possible issue to look into, but you cannot possibly know that now (and there is no reason to even try to diagnose it, except for symptoms like pain, before that). And you'd still need to go through all testing to rule out other potential issues.
So step one - try to conceive. Really, truly. The Trying to Get Pregnant board would be a great place for you on learning your cycle and tracking ovulation and dealing with the "what if it doesn't work?" anxiety. This board is really not for you, and hopefully never will be.
And if I could make one more point - if you DO get pregnant in a few months, please DO NOT come back to this post or this board and say something like, "Just wanted you to know it IS possible to get pregnant with endometriosis! I'm X weeks along!" and post an ultrasound picture or some such stuff. Because that's not helpful and really hurtful to those who are struggling. Please, please, please don't do that.
So unless you try for a year (or 6 months if you're over 35 years old), there's really no reason for you to come back to this board. Hopefully you won't ever have to, and if you do, these women are a great resource and a source of support to those also battling infertility.
