Bandaid on stuffy removal question

LO had his 18m needles today and he hates bandaids. The doc put one on his favourite stuffed animal and it is one of those really elastic kids ones and I can't get it off. I keep just getting miniscule bits of it off because it is so cheap it just rips. Any suggestions on how to remove it? LO is super upset that Pooh has a boo boo. The animal isn't washable. TIA.

Can you get in there with a pair of cuticle scissors and give pooh a hair trim to cut it out?

Also, E hates bandaids too!  What is that about?

What about an exacto knife? You will be cutting off some of the fuzz, but close to the bandaid so hopefully it won't be as noticeable.

Thanks guys. I felt like any trimming was going to leave some noticeably bald patches on pooh so I searched online. There was a suggestion to try hand lotion and it worked like a darn. Pooh may be a bit moisturized now but the nuisance bandaid is gone.
