O and CM Question

Hi all, I'm new to charting and CM check and have a question. I O'd 2 days ago, confirmed by OPK, temp spike and physical symptoms. Checked my CM today and it was creamy to egg white-ish (still trying to learn the difference). I read in TCOYF that after O the CM would quickly vanish. Any thoughts?

I typically have a day or two of fertile (w and more seldom ew) after O.  It means nothing IF you have had a clear thermal shift.

Good to know. Is it worth it to track CM or just stick with temping?

I stop internal checks after O is confirmed but do make note if it's excessive during lp... again it means not much just like to know my patterns. I do not always temp throughout my lp- just whatever I feel like doing.  Best wishes!

You can still have EWCM or Watery mucus after O. Look at my chart. I have had watery every day since O (not normal for me, but it's happening this cycle). Now-- sometimes it indicates a body change. Sometimes it can indicate pregnancy. Sometimes...it's just from hormones, etc. 

Either way-- nothing to worry about!

My CM really kind of does whatever the heck it wants. I do take a daily antihistamine so it probably has an effect.

Check CM prior to O helps me know when we need to have sex so I would definitely do that.  Once O has been confirmed by temps I will notice CM but don't pay that much attention to it since it doesn't really mean anything at that point.
