Weight Loss Ladies - Your First Challenge!

I didn't want to wait until Friday, so we'll start with a basic one.

Challenge: Water, Water, Everywhere!

Drinking enough water is something we should all be doing, but probably aren't. It's also one of the easiest things to do to promote weight loss. So this week, try to drink at least 64 oz of water each day. If you want, aim for more...I try for 100 oz since I'm BFing. Tip: Drink a glass of water half an hour before each meal. It will help you feel more full.

We'll see how everyone did on Friday!

  • definitely need to be doing this more! especially since I'm BFing. I drink water, but i also drink a lot of soda >.< also bad for BFing. ugh. but YAY for more water. I'm in!

  • I'm in... begrudgingly. ;-) I ALWAYS suck at this, but I know I need to do it! I truly drink an obscene amount of diet soda, the madness needs to stop.

  • I'm actually a pretty good water drinker already. My tips are to fill a water pitcher in the morning, and put it on the counter, so I see it throughout the day. Back in my working days, I had a cute cup with a lid and straw. Every time I got up to pee I'd stop at the kitchen and fill up my cup. This worked well, like a self fulfilling prophesy.

  • I'm much better about drinking water all day when I'm at work. Right now I'm off, so I drink my coffee in the morning, then get busy and forget about my water. At school, my water bottle is always right next to me, and I refill it every time the kids are not in the classroom.
