    @ceemonkey‌ congrats on your beta!! FX for great beta tomorrow too!! @DoublePortion‌ glad to hear all is well!

    Nothing to report! Still feel yucky from time to time. I'm just ready to hear the HB again in 2 weeks :)

    QOTW: Winter. I know I know it's not fun when it gets brutally cold and dark early but I love watching the falling of snow and how beautiful the snow covered trees look! Drinking hot chocolate and having the fireplace on. Loved traveling to Beaver Creek every yr with my job too!

    Christmas music and lights! MH gets annoyed because I love to drive around in other housing plans to look at decorations lol. Oh and yummy comfort food :) I have a love/hate relationship with winter.

    ME:46 MH:44 DE IVF 2014
    Met with RE 4/11. 2 IUI's BFN. DE best option. Switched clinics to do "shared" program. Had to retake all tests and a mamm that put me behind and then on a DE waiting list for 12 months. Picked a donor!! (10/13/13) Got matched. Estimated transfer in December. After 2.5 years of patiently waiting I will finally cycle....can hardly believe it. DE cycle got cancelled. One of her tests came back positive.  Waiting for another donor. Donor picked!! (1/18/14)

    DE IVF #1 (4/26) BFN  DE FET #1 (6/4) BFP! Beta 1=339 Beta 2=852 Beta 3=9957 EDD 2/22/15!!

    Hi ladies,

    GL to all! So, I've been breaking out into hives since my last failed transfer. It is odd because I've never been allergic to anything in my life. RE thinks there is no connection, but I've googled and there are a fair amount of stories of this happening to folks after repetitive IVF failures. Anyway, GP sent me to a derm, and derm referred me to an allergist. My allergy appointment is in a few weeks. I somehow think that this is symptomatic of immune issues and implantation failure, but greater minds than me need to figure this out. I'm looking forward to my appointment with Dr. KK in December. Seems very far away, but if am sure that the time will fly. As for my favorite season, I love the fall!

    I am in my 2ww and I feel excited, good, hopeful. My mom was with me for the week so that was a great visit.

    on the plus side- Truly amazing Dr, she is smart and communicative. lucky and grateful  that we all have the medical resources. Just focusing on the positives and meditating. C'mon on little baby, grow grow, grow. **1st B/W on Friday AM!

    @Ceemonkey, COngrats on an amazing first beta!! Please update with Beta #2!
    AFM: I received the first month of my calendar and I started my estrogen last Thursday and Testosterone started Sunday. I emailed my nurse about an antibiotic clarification and she replied back "Dr. G’s notes were very clear that you would start the zpack now. I agree that it is unusual but she has set up a special Mindy special protocol." I feel pretty special since I have my own "special protocol” LOL.
    QOTW: my fav. seasons are tied. I love the spring because everything is new and the air is refreshing. I love the fall because I love the changing color of the leaves, and the crisp air.

    @RunCC37 I understand your worries about your donor's AFC but 18 is still great. Plus more can crop up after the baseline so I'll keep my fingers crossed for you!

    Update: I had my first beta yesterday at 9dp5dt and it was 438. 2nd beta is tomorrow and that will be 12dp5dt so hoping for more than doubling.

    QOTW: I love all the seasons - I really couldn't live where there's a consistent temp all year long. The change in seasons just makes me love each season that much more! That being said though, my favorite is fall. I love the cool crisp weather, the colorful leaves, and I love football, so it all comes together for me at this time of year.

    Thanks everyone for the nice words. Update: beta #2 is 2170!

    @mm29 - that's awesome about your specialized protocol, means they're actually looking at your file and putting thought into it! I had been at a clinic where I didn't think they didn't know me from the next patient.

    @Mrs.McIrish - so happy you had a nice shower, that sounds wonderful!

    @Rumbera28 - I know exactly how you feel about your birthday. Mine's coming up on the 26th and it always reminds me of how I'm getting older, and it also reminds me of the first time I got the bad news about my high FSH - two days after my birthday 4 years ago. I hope you were able to enjoy your birthday a little and forget about your AMA.

    @1220winterbride - your pup is so cute! Ours is a Great Pyrenees - funny how they look alike even though totally different breeds!

    Hi ladies!  Huge hugs to those that need them and congrats to those celebrating milestones.

    We STILL have not heard anything back from Nan or Dr. Duffy.  I'm pretty angry about it at this point but I also haven't had the time to call them and ask what the heck either.  I'm going to try to call them this week.  I have not been around lately at all, I've been so busy with my new position and work and going back to school myself.  That and the fact that I'm really upset and still have it in my head that I won't be able to carry a baby is just killing me and I have been trying to focus on anything other than TTC.  So it seems as if we are on a slight break I supposed you could call it.

    QOTW: THIS is my favorite season....FALL.  I love the cool but not cold weather and the fact that I can wear sweat shirts and jeans whenever I want and be comfy.  I also love pumpkin donuts, the cider mill and decorating :)

    Hey ladies,

    Sorry I'm so late to the party this week!

    I made the trip to SIRM NJ Monday and drove back Tuesday.

    @Runcc37 - 18 is great. I wouldn't even worry about that number!

    @ceemonkey - omfg!! I have been stalking you for this update!! I know you're very cautious, and I don't blame you... But, I will say that I am very excited for you-

    @marshmallowevening‌ - so very sorry you're going through this. I hope you get more profiles soon.

    @sorrellam30 - so sorry for all of the waiting. I hope you get a start date very soon!!!

    @DoublePortion‌ - glad all is well

    @BeckyP005‌ - hope you're feeling better!

    @Refeek1 - I'm so very sorry.

    @chicagobride_07 - I'm sure the time before your appt will pass quickly. I'm sure it will be worth the wait-

    @mm29 - hope your cycle goes smoothly... Thinking of you

    @Mrs.McIrish - so happy for you and I'm glad you had a wonderful day! I was thinking about you on Sunday and I knew you were enjoying your special time celebrating!

    @Love4Labs326‌ - I'm so sorry you haven't heard back from anyone. I don't blame you for being angry. Did they give you a timeline about when you would hear back? I'm glad you've kept busy, but I would follow up ASAP. That's so unfair to you.

    *Update- well... A lot is going on. I had my mock transfer Tuesday and it was very quick and painless; I'm not sure why it was so easy this time, but I hope it goes just as smoothly for the real deal.

    I really like my new RE and the new clinic, but I still don't have any hope of this working. I have to say that being in a clinic where they truly believe in immune issues and IF was reassuring. I do feel that there has to be some kind of immune component to all of my failures and given the fact that my NK cells are elevated; I'm just not sure if any of the treatments will ever work.

    I know I still have the 2 FETs ahead of me, but I'm still trying to figure out what our next steps will be.

    Qotw - I love fall. Although it makes me dread winter (I loathe winter!!) but I love the sunny days and the cozy nights. I love the cooking and pumpkin everything!

    Me (32) DOR, elevated NK Cells/ 2 copies of MTHFR mutation/ MH (35) azoo/high DFI   (TTC#1 since 2009)

    IVFs#1-4: (4/10-2/12) all BFN

    Surprise Bfp (9/11) - c/p

    DS IUI#1-2 (9/12, 10/12) - BFN

    DS IVF: (11/12) - BFN

    DE/DS IVF#1: (10/13) - 2 day 3 embies transferred-BFFN

    FET of 2 day 6 blasts: (12/13) - c/p

    DE/DS IVF #2: (4/14) - 1 day 5 blast transferred...BFFN...again.

    FET 5/14: 1 day 5 hatching blast transferred...another BFFN

    Repeat SHG 6/14-normal / Endometrial Receptivity Array biopsy 7/14-Receptive Uterus

    New RE, additional testing reveals elevated NK Cells

    FET of 1 day 5 blast (RE recommends transferring 1 due to elevated NK cells) with lovenox, steroids & intralipids in October

    Thanks for your reassurance about the AFC, ladies! I emailed my doctor to get his thoughts. He said that he did both u/s himself, and was very thorough on the first one. The most recent one, he said there were lots more but he didn't bother counting them because he saw enough to know that this donor still has a lot of potential.

    It seems like we have a match!!! Right now, we are working on the schedule which is a bit complicated. We're held up until I get my results from Dr. KK. 11 days to go!!! My nurse said that we'll either have a transfer around 11/4 or 11/18 depending on when we can get started. So soon!!!! Ahhhhh!!!!!!

    Thank you :) as of this moment, we are waiting for Dr. KK's Tx plan (we get it in 8 days), I'll start the pill on my next CD2 (around 10/2), and our donor has been contacted to confirm a mid-November ER/ET. Ahhhhh!!! So much in the air!!! On top of it all, I was offered a spot in a big marathon on 11/2. I'm going to talk to KK to see if she thinks it'll be safe for me to run it 2 weeks prior to transfer. FX! It sounds like it's too good to be true, but maybe the universe is paying me back for a horrible year last year?!
