When you get new cloth diapers and are set to prep them-- do you wash them using detergent?? Or just rinse cycles?

I use detergent the first cycle. After that if I'm prepping a bunch of diapers at once I'll just do rinse cycles. If I'm only prepping a few diapers I'll throw them in with sheets or towels that need to be washed anyway with CD safe det.

And do you do a rinse, detergent wash, rinse again?

No need to pre rinse, that is just to get the pee and poo out so your main wash isn't in pee water.
