Not Sleeping WTH!

My little girl would go to bed around 8pm and would wake between 6-7am. But her first time with teething screwed us all up! Now she's up three or four times a night and it's been this way for almost 3 months. I don't get what happened or how I can help her to sleep all night. She's in my room in her own crib but I need some momma help!

Re: Not Sleeping WTH!

  • I have no help, but I have hugs. Hang in there!

My DD STTN from 6 weeks to 5 months and then just stopped. Her dietician said I should keep one feed at night still but we've been trying to get rid of the other wake ups. Last night we were up all night, I think because of teething. It's rough but it won't last forever!

  • I think its up to you on how to proceed. There is sleep training or there is waiting the phase out. I think by this point, if your LO was once a good sleeper and suddenly isn't, they are probably going through a growth spurt, developmental leap or sleep regression, but at least you know that there is hope that things will return to normal once again.

DD is on a streak of waking up at 5:15 am everyday no matter what time she goes to bed. She used to sleep until 7am regularly. It's driving me nuts, but I'm pretty sure at some point she will start sleeping later again so I am not doing anything to try and curb it at the moment. If she starts waking up any earlier than that, then I'll have to put my food down and try to delay the morning wake up time.

Babies....as soon as you think you've got the routine down pat, they go and change shit up on you.
  • Hi, I'm new to the board. I forgot about the bump somehow to connect with other mom's of babies the same age as my DD. For some reason she started ( two weeks ago) crying in her sleep once a night and also waking up a little later and just rolling around and making noise on top of waking to eat which usually comes first. She used to just wake once to eat then she'd wake at 6 am. Now I'm losing sleep and hoping it's just a developmental thing. We don't think she's got a tooth coming (no teeth yet) since we haven't felt any bumps although you never know I suppose. What is frustrating is that she had a few nights before this happened where she sttn. Got all excited for nothing, lol.

I know this isn't helpful to your question but I'm the same!! Here's my story. Sorry for the length.

My son STTN in his crib for months since 2 months. 6 month sleep regression hit early and DS now sleeps in our bed. I tried allll the sleep no cry solutions from light music, bath pjs, soothing, singing rocking you name it. I then started controlled CIO for 2 to 4 min intervals.

It worked in getting him to sleep for a week but when woken up to our bed. Then it stopped working, after 2hours controlled crying with fear in his eyes scary hitting his head by myself. I said screw it. Not all babies have the personality for this. My baby doesn't just fuss as all these books say. I've given up, I try every night to put him in his crib but I don't care anymore. I co-sleep even though I said I wouldn't. Now he still wakes up four times sometimes!! :( Sometimes he only wakes up once. I also don't know what to do.
