Eating solids with HFM

My 9 month old was diagnosed with hand foot and mouth almost a week ago.  It was a pretty mild case, fever at 101 for two days and blisters only in his mouth, a few around the diaper area.  However, he still isn't eating solids.  He's taking his bottle just fine, but refuses to eat his solids.  I was just wondering how long it took other children before they started eating solids again.  Thanks!

Once the fever went away and the blisters formed, it took my LO a good week to go back to normal eating habits. You might try chilling purees and giving him those, or not worrying over it as solids still are mostly for exploration, and a week without any solids won't harm your baby. GL!
