Same here. I hope to read for pleasure someday but doctoral work = reading lots of journal articles = brain fried.

There are some books that don't need read but have pictures for adults.  Just a thought

Well if I get @lancomechica‌ , I will just ask her for the cite of a review article in her field and buy some foundational work everyone cites.

I thought the first one was ok, but OH MY GOD the second one was terrible. I hated it. I haven't read any more of them because it was so fucking horrendous.

Meh. Too each their own!! I know there is a lot of people who don't like the series!
