Speaking of heirloom tomatoes, why can't I add a ticker?

I tried adding the fruit/veggie one and after I hit save, there is NOTHING there

I am too dumb to do anything but paste in html code - which doesn't give me a ticker, just html code.  I did a bump search on it, and I'm still useless.

Maybe one of the fine ladies on this board can describe it to me in little words, so I can understand.

For my tickers, I added it as an image. I used the basic URL link from the ticker website. You go to Preferences and then to Signature Settings and insert the image in the signature code. Hope that helps!

I finally got it!  

First, create your bump ticker here.

In another browser window, go to to account options and signature settings.

Once you're on the signature settings screen, click on the <> icon on the far left of your signature tool bar.

Now, go back to the ticker page, and copy the html code generated in the first box.

Return to your signature settings page, paste the html text into your signature.

Finally, click on <> again to see your ticker.

Save and you are done.

When you come back to any of your previous posts, the ticker should now show. Hoorays!

PSA: Don't forget to add a siggy warning, b/c this will change in any of your old posts on the IF or 3T boards.

If you go to the siggy page and click the button that looks like this:

That's the HTML code.  It will look scary if you don't know HTML coding - don't fret!  Scroll all the way to the bottom (assuming that's where you want your siggy) and paste the code (it should start something like: "<a href =......" and end with ">").  Click that < > button again to view your siggy and make sure it transposed - you can also click the edges there to shrink or expand it to whatever size you want!
