I need to get a better one, and there are SO many out there, so I need some suggestions

Mine is the Walgreens brand. Takes only 30sec and it saves the last temp taken so you don't even turn the lamp on. I just retrieve the temp after I get up and record it.

Mine's a Mabis brand from Walmart. It was like 8 bucks in the store. It works just fine and dandy and I've never had any problems with it and never had to replace the battery since I got it about a year ago. My only regret is that it doesn't have a light-up display, so I can't see the temp in the dark unless I shine my phone at the display.

2nd Edit: Just read some reviews and apparently this is not a good one haha.  This could explain my chart woes.  Seems like this thermometer is not super accurate and has preset temps that it puts out a lot.  I keep getting a lot of the same temps.

@ktlovess We have a discount drug mart. Maybe it's the same type of store?

I think I'm going to order one off of amazon. I want one that is backlit so I don't have to shine my phone at it if it's still dark lol

I haven't had problems with this one but I have read that people think it gives you the same temp several times.  Also the beeping is annoying but I have learned to deal with it.

Same one here. A backlight would be great! (But I usually have to get up to use the r/r anyway, so I just take it with me.)
