You guys wanna hear the dumbest name of all time. It's not the name that's dumb, it's the spelling. This woman I know is having a little boy in December and they're planning to name him scyon (I feel like that's not even the way they're spelling it because it's a very bizarre spelling) to be pronounced Zion.

Oh dear lord. Why not just spell it Zion if that's how they're going to pronounce it? Isn't that a name of an ugly car or is that scion? So much blech

Haha really? What for? All the Quinns I've heard of were named after we picked it for LO....and they've always been girls. Oops! Oh well. I decorated his room kinda girly since I was convinced we were having a girl, so he double loses. Bahaha

Haha that's funny, everybody tells me it's a boys name. Or they're just like, "ooooohh, ok." Yesterday someone told me her granddaughter was also named Quinn and I was shocked.

Scion is the car.

Since names/spelling have been brought up, It runs me the wrong way when people "ley/lee" to "leigh". So Kaley is Kayleigh, etc.

There have been some kids come through my daycare that have taken the strange (to me) name cake...

Mars, Odin, Ares, Taryn, Ellis (who is a girl)

We also have a nephew named Arlo.

Not names I would choose by any means, but once you're around the kid long enough you kind of just get used to them.

I was one of about 43 Laurens growing up so I wanted something less common for my kid, without getting a "huh?!" reaction (Gavin).

We have friends who couldn't decide on a name the entire pregnancy, after she was born, then finally before they were discharged for birth cert. purposes they decided on Ava Grace. While I think this is a beautiful name, I know like 6 other people with the same exact name. I guess the build up kept me waiting for something unique.

Ah! Another FFFC, I think the iwatch is ridiculous. Watches should be watches and I don't care how cool it it, you are not inspector gadget. However, I'd love to see someone with an iwatch AND google glasses.

We're going out for Mexican on Monday for DH's birthday. I convinced him we needed to just to invite friends since we never get "friend time". Even though this is true...I really didn't want to invite MIL. She's been 100x more annoying lately. Sorry DH.

P turns to the tv and we don't go crazy trying to stop it, unless it's a movie in a rave I don't see it over stimulating him. I mean we never park him on front of the tv, but we don't give many fucks if he turns to it randomly.

@NoLaLinz‌ I get them regularly as a survival technique. I have. Terrible back, always have, and the baby have me sciatica. So my doc told me to go. DH just gets em when he's feeling stressed.

My child is far from a good sleeper (down 7:30-11:30, then up every 2, sometimes 3, hours), and other than being so effing tired all the time, I don't mind at all. If I could get an afternoon nap in every day, I'd love being up with her in the MOTN. She's friggin adorable, and I love the snuggles.

Love the name. My niece has the same name.

Same here.  I think it's a beautiful name and have a niece who is affectionately known as Jo.

My confessions would never get flames from you ladies, but they would from people my real life.

For instance: just told my DH the baby is sleeping on me and I didn't want to get up. So he should leave work early and bring me lunch (he flexs his hours in the off season). And I have been sitting here on the couch for 30 minutes. He'd be pissed I didn't make something for myself since we agreed to eat out less.

So, DH brought home this adorable kitten the other day. The kitten has tried multiple times to lick through my shirt/bra area in an attempt to get some milk. It's super awkward and embarrassing.
