I don't know how any of PP comments we're mean or reflected being a "hormonal bitch", but what I think (if you still want to know, because that's what you asked) is that I'm not sure about it bring paired with Antonio.
Also not my style, but who cares what we think it's your kiddo! This is why DH and I have discussed names with no one, bc only our opinions are relevant.
Just because it isn't their style doesn't mean it isn't yours! Everyone made it clear that if it's your style you should go for it. Idk if I'd say anyone is being hormonal here except you.
And probably me. I'm so annoyed reading people say others are being mean to them. Boo hoo.
ETA: I do like the name Kai. I've only known one person with the name, and it was a girl. But I like the name for a boy too.
I've had two students names Kai/Khi and because of this, I'd never use the name. Not a good correlation for me. However, if you like it, go for it. It's your kid.
Today, I might actually be a hormonal bitch. Not much sleep. However, I'm not sure any of the responses here were actually bitchy. Go figure!

Wow I can't believe how rude you people are, I dont care what the name mean in the uk, that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard, no I don't want to hear that everyone loves the name but mature comments would be appreciated

If you don't care what it "means" in the UK then why are you acting hurt and calling us bitches?

Alright, here's a mature-ish comment. I'm from the US, now living in Canada. The name was NMS back in the States, and it still isn't my style up here in the great white North. Does that cover all parts of the world that are relevant to you, your highness?

I sincerely dislike how the name feels as it comes out of my mouth due to previous exposure to other people's children who were adorned with the same sounding name.
See, we can be mature.
I'm usually a pretty go with the flow lady, but today is not the day for this shit...

Just because I wouldn't name my kid that doesn't mean you can't. Part of the beauty of having a kid is naming him as you see fit. But if you ask people what they think then you need to be ready to hear *ahem* what their thought are. Sorry we didn't start a group cheer for your name...
Re: Decided on a name....
I just had to google it too! I guess it refers to big gold hoops, wearing track suits, lots of bling.
Interesting.

2nd vote for Hodor!
Should we get the bingo markers out?

Op, re-read everyone's responses please, as a grown woman. Nobody was rude.
