Newbie... In need of some advice and encouragement.

Hi ladies, so I've been TTC now for 7 mths. I have no clue what is wrong. I've been to the DR to check all my hormones. I check my BBT every morning and I seem to (without fail) get this crazy dip on CD 14/15 and a sharp rise the next day. My cycles are usually 28days and once in a while 30days long. I'm on CD25 and because I'm going crazy i decided to test around 1pm today hoping to get a sigh of relief but instead been sad all day because it came up Neg. My worse enemy is due on Monday. Is it too early for the HPT to detect hcg levels? Did implantaion not occur yet for me?

Sounds like you have been ovulating. You probably just need to be more patient. It may seem long, but 7 months is quite short and well within the normal range. This board is for women who have undergone (or are undergoing) testing for infertility and have been trying for over a year (many much longer). The board that may suit you best is TTGP. I'll check it out. I just feel like it's been forever. Every month it's an oh it didn't work out this month...what's wrong with me?? I'm really hoping this cycle is it and I just tested too early.

I thought about seeing a specialist but didn't think I needed to since I'm only 30 and my ob claims I'm healthy and it just takes time. Idk maybe it's time I go check one out. I've been pregnant before (without trying) but miscarried at 12+ weeks last yr April due to stress. We didn't start trying until this year and it seems like because we're focused on it, it's not happening...sigh

I know it's frustrating.. But like everyone said it can take up to a year. Here I am on my 30th cycle. Check out the ttgp board, it has loads of information, and can help before it's time to check out a RE. Good luck.

Thanks ladies, I've joined the TTGP board. Hoping I read something different. A year sounds like eternity since it's already been over a yr since I was last pregnant. I'm trying to be patient.

Most pregnant women would see see an HPT- if they tested at 10-11DPO.

The first 5 months after your last pregnancy when you were not TTC cannot be added to your 7  months TTC to give you an IF diagnosis, which is why this is not the right board for you now (and hopefully you will not need to join us because you'll get your BFP within a year as do 85% of women!).
