TTC After a Loss

Weird (possibly TMI) question

So first off, I understand that CM increases during a woman's FW to aid in conception. That being said, I have always seemed to have an abundance of it at any point, and it becomes A LOT during my FW. It can get to the point of it desensitizing DH during the act. After we burn the bench I want to give us the best shot of TTC, including not inhibiting DH. Does anyone know of any way to decrease CM? I've asked my Dr's office and the nurse who called back said the only thing that may do anything is Sudafed, but it's not a guarantee.
