Welcome to the TTFAS AL check-in. This check-in is for TTCAL-ers with living children to talk about the issues about TTCAL while you have a living child. Living children and pictures of living children are welcome here, however if your pictured child is an infant (< a year old), please do place a warning at the beginning of your post to alert ladies who are having a hard day.  Please remember to post an intro on the main board as we are all here to TTC a sibling!

AFM: Work is still slow as we wait to hear about potential new investors and the direction we are going. It's been pretty stressful since the process is taking longer than many people assumed it would take. I'm still on the bench and waiting impatiently for this long cycle to end so I can get back to TTC. DH and I have a busy weekend coming up. Other than that not too much else going on.

QOTW: I'm lame, but my drink of choice is Iced Tea. If I'm actually drinking it's usually sweet red wines (I prefer our wedding wine the most).

Got my crosshairs today. I'm 3dpo. We are TTA this cycle on doctor's orders, for hopefully the last time in a while.

Favorite beverage: it's a toss-up between coffee and wine

 Saw the new RE this week.  We both liked him.  He thinks he knows why I keep having losses so he ordered a ton of blood tests to confirm.  I had 10 vials taken...I thought it would have been more.  But he thinks I have an issue with my T Helper 2 cells.  This is promising news.  The old RE was not going to look for an actual reason just leave me as unexplained.

Also I found out I actually did ovulate (a week earlier than normal) and from my left side (which is my lazy side).  And DH did not want to do anything to prevent and I am worried that we will have another loss since we are waiting for test results. Bad DH.

My drink is Dr Pepper.  And Rum and coke.

I know it is hard, but do try to think positively. If the results come back confirming what your RE thinks has he said anything about a plan moving forward, especially if timing was unexpectedly good this time?

Hi everyone! I met with my new RE on Monday and I really like him. So much more kind and compassionate than my old doctor. We're running all new labs but unless something has majorly changed I think we will be doing another Femara, gonal-f cycle. I'm so excited and scared! I'm thinking we will likely try on our own for the next few months to save up money and then go for it towards the first of the year. I'm on prometrium right now to hopefully extend this cycle. My last two were twelve days long and this one is at 19! I'm having so much fun with the progesterone induced rage right now. I'm trying to keep it in check but it's so hard when there are so many idiots on the road.

I'm such a kid sometimes. My favorite drink of all times is a coke icee. There is just something about the cold and sweetness that makes me happy.

Hi - I'm on the bench still.  Doc rec a D&C since I complain about my HEAVY periods all the time.  Since I am benched due to too many cysts, I'm going to go ahead and do it this cycle while I wait.  I am nervous, tho!

Drink is def. coffee!!

@PGwithNo3 - GL with the D&C.  I was nervous before mine too but the anticipation was much worse than the actual procedure.

AFM: Still dealing with tons of emotional/mental crap and my psychiatrist appt. is in exactly one week so just keeping busy until then.  Had my second acupuncture appt. today and love it even more.  So relaxing and I just. feel. better afterwards.  Also AF made her appearance last Friday and has yet to leave the building.  Hopefully she's almost done though - I'd like to stop bleeding!

QOTW: I love limeade.  It just mades me think of summer.  DH makes homemade limeade and it is so good!

Hi Ladies!

I intro'd on the main board a couple weeks back. Z will be 2 on October 6th. EDD was March 11, 2014. Currently in the 2ww of cycle 3. If we're unsuccessful for the next 3 cycles we'll have to move on to the RE again. 

Drink of choice....Bailey's. I'll sub with a glass of Appleton Rum and Pepsi.

I'm so sorry you are having a rough time! I hope the week flies by so you can see you psychiatrist and start feeling better! I feel for you with AF. Mine was here for 5 full days and 2 spotting at the end. I thought she'd never finish.

As for my cycle, I usually have 45 day cycles and I am only on CD 17 (I'm far from burning this bench). I'm just hoping the next 28 days goes quickly.

I am actually hoping that it was not good timing only because we don't really have a plan yet.  I also am prone to implantation failures and I would need to be on heparin.  I am just happy that there might be an explanation and a solution.

Hi all, Sorry but I'm posting and running. I'm coming off a ten hour shift and want to spent my time with DD. I've had a crazy filled week, with DD getting hand foot mouth, and my OB sending me for stat testing due to concerns about my high levels and the risk of an emergency d&c. Plus DH is away. Thankfully, DD is on the mend, it's my weekend, and my levels dropped enough that my body seems to be doing its thing naturally, just taking it's sweet ol' time (I'm six weeks post loss). Luckily, my uterus looks "beautiful" so the OB predicts once my body processes the loss it won't extend our TTC wait (till end of October/November. And, I'm starting accupuncture tomorrow! Hoping I love it like @ellebelle2384‌

Hi ladies- bit of a post and run this week.  Hope everyone is having a good week.  Just trying to get through the next few days without insane nervousness until our MFM consult on Tuesday. Looking forward to seeing what she has to say about our situation and plan going forward.

Drink of choice- NA- Iced tea (half sweet/half unsweet)  A- Sangria or mojito!

Sorry for the late check in. I'm doing ok - have had my moments when I keep seeing more baby/pg announcements, but I guess that won't be going away.

My drink of choice is either Riesling or Bacardi & Diet, depending on my mood. I also love margaritas but don't get them often because of the calories!

Hi Ladies!

Sorry I don't have time again this week to respond to everyone.  I still don't have my official calendar yet but the nurse I spoke with on Tuesday said that my FET would most likely be October 27th or 28th!  I'll feel better once I get my calendar but knowing which week in October it will be is progress!  In the mean time I started Weight Watchers again on Monday and have **almost** followed it!  I'm really proud of myself!

QOTW:  I just LOVE wine and beer.  My favorite white at the moment is Kim Crawford.

Venison tenderloin and some roasted root vegetables for dinner with a bottle of wine.  Probably chill on the couch and either play a computer game (Civ V) or watch a movie. Nothing extravagant.  

That's how we do anniversaries too. I don't care to go to a restaurant 90% of the time.

I'm having a tough week. Dh mentioned how happy his mom was watching his cousin's little baby for a day and I kind of snapped at him. Poor guy!
