DD is recently potty trained. She had an accident and now her tennis shoes reek of pee. Think throwing them in the wash would ruin the lights in them?

Re: NTTTCASR - points for most ridiculous acronym of the day?
I've tried the vinegar today ... and they sat in the sun ALL DAY airing out. No luck. I think I'm going to risk the washing machine and hope for the best.
She had another "accident" today when we had company over. I think she is doing it on purpose. Ugh.

In case it comes up for any of you fine ladies, I'm happy to report that the lights on DDs shoes still work after a round in the washer and dryer! No more pee smell, and they look brand new to boot.
