And both my mom and my aunt taught in the Bensalem school district - my mom was at Cornwells, and my aunt was (or maybe still is?) at Valley.  Small world!

It is a huge change!  DH and I decided to have "an adventure" when we were younger.  Ten years ago we packed everything we owned into a tiny car and drove to Los Angeles.  We lived there for a while but we eventually ended up in San Francisco.

@benmel31‌ we must have overlapped at Sesame - I think I was there in 97 and 98? I worked as a photographer at the front gate, and then we sold those little plastic keychains when people were leaving the park.

I live in California, in a small town near Sequoia National Park. I grew up in San Diego and lived there during most of my twenties, then moved to San Francisco for five years with my husband. Two years ago we moved for his job. I now live pretty much in the middle of the state.

Cali girl born and bred here!  Born and raised in Santa Barbara, lived in the Los Angeles area for the past 10 years, and then just literally (within the last month) moved up to the SF Bay area for my husband's job.

I hear you about winter! I hate it too. I often wonder how I ended up being 36 years old and still living in this state when I could have moved anywhere else for the past 18 years!

@benmel13 How cool, another blue hen!! I was class of 2004. Do you ever go back for alumni weekend? All of my college friends and I went this year and then promised we would try to go every year. (I guess I'll be out this time around though since I'll have a newborn)
