WTF, just WTF. I saw a guy I grew up with on The Today Show, and not in a good way. If anyone saw it he was the drugged out guy that passed out in the house he was robbing and slept so hard he didn't even hear the cops get there and start taking pictures of him. I get so angry when I see great people let their lives take a nose dive because of pills. It used to make me sad, now I'm pissed.

WTF Boss - Just because I needed to take Monday off last minute for 2 MD appts does not mean I have to start couting time against my FMLA, especially when I have plenty of PTO still saved up to cover my time. 

She tried to pull the same thing with a co-worker when she was pregnant too.  Such BS!

WTF FIL- why do you think it would be a good idea for you to host Christmas at your house 3 weeks before my due date. In get you're going to be away over Christmas, but there is no way I am going to sit in a car for 3 hours to drive to your house when I am 37 weeks pregnant. Can't you just come here?

WTF DH- i keep telling you that we shouldn't travel when I am 37 weeks pregnant. Why do you keep telling your family we want to go and will play it by ear? And no, doing Christmas the week before won't change my mind....

WTF plebotomist! It's your job to find veins for blood draws. I'm pretty sure I have them. First of 3 draws for my GD test and he couldn't feel a vein in one arm, poked the other arm without luck and finally took blood from the back of my hand. Where are you going to get the next two rounds from?!

awe, pic won't load for me at work.    I'd also think this is a health violation because flies breeding/being in a school means the place is unsanitary and that's not safe for a pregnant mama.  least Facilities can do is put up some damn fly paper or something....

WTF family? - my uncle met some woman online about 800 miles away, he drove to meet her then got sick.  He was in the hospital 800 miles away and wanted my mom to drive to get him. WTF 18 month sleep regression - I want my happy easy toddler back.  How did our awesome bedtime routine turn into refusing to go in the crib and making me or DH sleep with her all night.

I have a 7 year old, and have replaced the rug in her room like 5 times now. Don't go too expensive, they get dirty and stained regardless especially with little ones.

I should mind my own, well there's my 2 cents whether you asked for it or not, sorry

 

For rugs I either go Ikea or Crate and Barrel Outlet.  Sometimes HomeGoods has good deals, too.

WTF bladder...I have to pee all. the. time. EXCEPT when I'm supposed to give a sample at the doctor's office. Lucky if I can squeeze out enough to cover the bottom of the jar.

@GradSchoolPrincess‌ - He was decent today. Has a 5 month old girl at home and told me his wife gained 30 lbs. Dude...your wife probably does not want random strangers/patients knowing this.

The actual Doctor told me I looked great and explained some of the additional risks of sleep apnea during pregnancy (pre-eclampsia). Additionally pregnant women can develop sleep apena over the course of their pregnancy since all those hormones can relax the throat and neck.

Pregnancy insomnia is expected due to constant changes in progesterone and estrogen balance.

WTF stranger in the store telling me to smile because life is good. You don't know my life right now. While generally it is very good, it sucks big time this week. A fried of 20+ years was laid to rest yesterday and I couldn't travel to hug and cry with his widow, my mom had major surgery, tomorrow's the anniversary of my cousin's death at the pentagon, and I found out today I have gestational diabetes (but only through the online lab results so I have no clue what that really means yet). I'm entitled to not smile while standing in a damn line today; just be glad I wasn't a big sobbing mess.

@BayCamp‌ - For your sake I hope not either that would be frustrating. For me unfortunately mine is more genetic than weight based so I am just hoping it doesn't get worse. Plus side is like 70-80% of the pregnancy cases resolve after baby is born.

WTF SIL? You hem and haw about flying out for our baby shower in my hometown in California, then tell DH that you can't make it because you're trying to pay down your debt (totally respectable, no qualms with that). Next thing I know, you're posting on FB about the trip you just booked to Las Vegas...which is a mere 5 days after our shower. Why bother using the excuse of finances, why not just be honest and upfront?

WTF doctors - I have had 5 migraines in 2 weeks and you want me to see a neurologist or an OMT..  the neurologists are booked out until December and the OMT doesn't have an open appointment for weeks.. So just drink lots of Mt. Dew and Tylenol and wear sunglasses at work until someone can see you... OR spend 5x as much money and go to the ER where they have a neurologist on staff at all times!!

@ashtonkitty1 - While not medically sound I have a friend who swears by this fit bit type device that tracks his sleep and body movement. Based on those results he is going to go see a sleep specialist. In addition to snoring his partner has also noted him stop breathing or "holding his breathe" while sleeping. Just wanted to pass that along.

WTF work. 2 Fridays ago you lay off the only other person who can do my job (and has appropriate system access to do my job) when I go on Maternity leave... and today we are notified of mandatory 5 day furlough days over the next 2 weeks (but of course we have to work out the logistics with our supervisor to ensure we still have coverage...). So now I have twice the work and I wasn't planning on taking any vacation time off before maternity leave, mostly because of the work load, and now I have one less week and my pay will be dramatically impacted. (and who knows if anything will be done while I'm gone that week)... Ugh... 

I drowned my sorrows in a PSL at lunch... it was very good and now I want another.

Get your resume in order. I have a feeling there are going to be more lay offs. (This was pre - recession text book behavior)
