Charcoal Bamboo?

Ok, what is so special about it? Is it actually infused with charcoal somehow (which would be awesome against smell and bacteria...) or s it just the charcoal grey color? I know this is probably a dumb question, but I have prego-brain and I'm seeing it listed a lot recently. There isn't really a cost difference, so either way I'm thinking it would be a good advantage to hiding stains, but other than that, what am I missing on this whole deal...?

(PS- gotta share my excitement somewhere... I got a pair of wool longies I ordered from ebay today, and the seller was so awesome she tossed in an extra pair of shorties! SCORE!!! They're also in way better condition that I was actually expecting as well!)

Speaking of charcoal bamboo... Did you know they are using it in food in Japan? They are even using it to make a black burger.
