are there really people who pack energy drinks in kids' lunches?
To my boys: I will love you for you Not for what you have done or what you will become I will love you for you I will give you the love The love that you never knew
Could someone recap? My computer is goofy and I couldn't click through it.
Lunchables, soda, energy drinks, granola bars...I didn't even finish clicking it. I just want to know if there are seriously parents who would put energy drinks in their kids' lunches!

I don't think I would pack an energy drink, but I know that any lunch I would pack would probably have potato chips and oreos. Fortunately, I have been pretty impressed with the school lunches. (Today, DS had roast pork, roasted potatoes, baby carrots and dip and pineapple chunks. Tomorrow, he has spaghetti and meat sauce, salad, and a peach.)

I am convinced you would only put energy drinks in your kids lunch if you hated their teachers. I am all for paying attention, but that just sets your kid up for failure and frustration when they have to sit through class.
Hallelujah, it's a miracle, I have children AND a signature!
My favorite part was the dandelion that popped up at the end (beginning of the next article apparently).....considering AG's objection to granola bars (which made the cut on this list along with other stuff you'd expect a lot more readily.....like soda and candy), I felt like I was in the Twilight Zone....
can we please add skewers to this list? Parents get on pinterest and see cute things on skewers and send them to school with their kids, and then teachers have to run around yanking pointy things out of kids' hands before they impale their friends.
Lol I have totally wondered about this! All these cute skewers on pinterest, can you imagine all these kids running around with them!
Eh, Gatorade is hot amongst the 2nd grade boy set, particularly after soccer games, etc. I pack a Gatorade for him occasionally as a special treat. Who cares?
He never has any juice at all until he was 5, do I still get my mommy martyr award? Lol

I used toothpicks for DD's lunch starting in 1st or 2nd grade and all her friends are hole free...not all kids would be horrible with it.
