This check-in is for mommas who lost a baby due in the month of August (any year), and any late loss mommas who gave birth and lost their precious angel in August.

New to the check in: Welcome. I'm so sorry you find yourself here but hope you find the love and support you need from the amazing women on TTCAL. Tell us a bit about yourself, where you are in the TTCAL process, and don't forget to include your August EDD or birth date.

Didn't mean to miss last week, sorry ladies.

On Friday, I have my WTF by phone (a consult with my RE to discuss my failed cycle/what to do next cycle).  My RE actually called me herself, (I hope she knows how much that meant to me) and when I told her I'm ready to go but her appts are really backed up, she said she'd take care of it and I got a call the next day to reschedule me for more than 2 weeks earlier.  I'm hoping we can make some changes.

  Next Monday, I have a financial appointment by phone and hopefully we can find out if my insurance will pay for a fresh or a frozen cycle asap.  Our insurance never covered anything IF before, but it looks like something changed.  CD1 is sometime next week and I don't want to miss starting up again.  I also don't want to get onto the same timeline as my loss so I am aiming to get going long before November, but I'll take what I can get.

  Tomorrow is our 7 year wedding anniversary and our 17 year dating anniversary.  Today, we are cleaning house, packing, and finding a hotel for a couple of days in Lake Tahoe or Reno, NV.  We haven't been as adults and I'm just glad to get out of the area and have fun.

Hi August ladies!  I had an AWESOME day at school today and I just am in a great mood overall.  I wore my remembrance necklace for my angels yesterday and really felt good wearing it.  I haven't worn it since my last loss in early August and it brought me a lot of peace yesterday wearing it.  I just really need to get through the end of September when my friend is due with her twins and then I think I should be okay through the holidays.  I hope.  It should be around that point that DH and I should start talking about our future family and how we are going to press forward.  It's so overwhelming to think about right now and I'm at a good place at the moment.

QOTW:  This is my go-to recipe when I don't know what else to do:

Baked Ranch Parmesan Crusted Chicken  DH loves it, my family loves it, I love it! It's actually happening tonight!!
