In between ER & ET Question

My ER was Friday and transfer will be Wednesday.  My RE does not do any blood or sonos between the two - is that the norm?  I'm on PIO but that's it.  

Also do you start to get relief from the bloat?  TIA!

    My dr didn't do any tests between either. Which I was grateful for the break.

    And it took me a long time w the bloat. Still bloated - my transfer was Saturday. It is way better though and less pressure. It felt endless though, I know. I got lots of rest and drank lots of water.

    I had my ER on Thursday.. My transfer is Tuesday. I had to go in on Sunday for them to check my estrdiol and progesterone. But they never called me with results so I don't really know what they were looking for. I'm on PIO and vivelle patches. Good luck to you!

    No monitoring in between for me.

    Me: 27 DH: 27

    October 2013: Endo erosion/ Clear HSG

    March 2014: SA #1/  2%morph, borderline sperm count, decent motility

    June 2014: SA#2/  2% morph, low sperm count, worse motility

    Plan: "Quick Start IVF"/antagonist protocol with Follistim, Ganirelix, Ovidrel and progesterone suppositories (yay)

    High AMH (11) and Low BMI= low doses of everything to prevent OHSS

    July 27, 2014: Started Follistim injections for ten days

    July 31, 2014: U/S= 20 follicles, 8.5 lining, E2 is good, Ganirelix for 4 days starting 8/2

    August 4, 2014: 14 follicles on-track, good lining, Trigger 8/6

    August 9, 2014: 9 ICSIed/ 5 embryos; aiming for a 5dt on 8/13

    August 13, 2014: 5DT of 1 4BA almost-hatching blastocyst (Please hang in, Little Bug!)

    August 14, 2014: We have 3 frosties! Hope they're having fun hanging out together. :)

    I'm on the same schedule as you! No testing done here. Bloat is starting to go down and I'm starting to feel "normal" again. GL Wednesday!

    I've done two IVF cycles, and there was no monitoring between either of them (one was a 3dt, the other 5dt).  The only monitoring was a u/s in the morning before ET.

    Me: 37, DH: 39, TTC 5 yrs

    2013 summary: Diagnosed with Hypothyroid; Cervical polyp removed (benign); 
    2 rounds ovidrel with timed intercourse (no result): 3 rounds IUI with clomid + ovidrel (no result)
    2014 summary (to date):
    IVF cycle 1 - ER: 4/17 (28 follicles, 3 fertilized, 2 survived to day 3);
    ET: 4/20 (3rd day, 2 embryos - 1 @ 6 cells & 1 @ 4 cells); Beta 5/1 - BFP!; 
    1st scan 5/13 - development behind, no heartbeat detected; D&C 6/2; WTF 6/13
    IVF cycle 2 - BCP begun 7/12; stims w/ HGH begun 7/26; 
    ER: 8/6, 12 follicles, 7 fertilized w/ ICSI; ET: 8/11, 3 blastocysts left, 2 transferred, 3rd arrested 8/12 - none to freeze :'(
    1st beta 8/19 - BFP! 294; 2nd beta 8/26 - 4976; 1st u/s 9/2; 2nd u/s 9/9 - two little heartbeats at 140 each!!! 
    EDD: 29-April-2015
    Other Meds: Synthroid 100 mcg/daily

    I did not have any monitoring between ER and ET.  I felt more bloated after ER then prior to it.  Bloating started to go down 4 days after ER.
    Me 27 DH 29 Married since 2007, together since 2001
    Off BC since Febuary 2006 3 Clomid Cycles in 2008- symptomatic, US just showed a tilted uterus, otherwise normal, HSG normal.  DH has an ejaculatory duct obstruction and a congenital absence of the vas deferens.  This is common with cystic fibrosis carriers, but he doesn't have cystic fibrosis. IVF #1 with TESE/ICSI (Antagonist protocol) Aug 2014=BFN (poor embryo quality)   IVF #2 ICSI long lupron protocol November 2014

    Same here, no monitoring between ET and ER

    March:  IUI, ectopic, 2 surgeries with 1 tube removed

    I had monitoring today (3DP) because of elevated E2 levels and to check in. They didn't take blood though (surprised me). Last time, our embryo count was low, so we expected a 3DT but they still didn't monitor in between. Enjoy the little wait and get some relaxation! GL!
    30 yrs, healthy & TTC since April 2010 
    DH 32yrs & healthy
    *unexplained infertility* 

    Regularly access alternative medicine to supplement a lack of resources in our geographical area.
    • Three rounds of clomid (50mg days 3-7) were useless.
    • IUI#1 w/clomid & HCG in May 2013, BFN.
    • IUI#2 w/clomid & HCG on July 23rd. BFN.
    • IUI #3 in August cancelled last minute, due to lab error.
    • IVF#1 - Started Gonal F stims October 13 2013 for IUI. Over-responded with too many follicles, so converted to IVF. Retrieval October 29th - got 5 eggs, 4 fertilized. Had 2 perfect little embryos transferred on day 3 (Nov. 1). The remaining 2 didn't survive to freeze. Got our BFN on November 13th 2013.
    • IVF#2 - Started stims August 21st. Triggered with Suprefact, started on dostinex due to risk of OHSS. Retrieval September 5th - got 27 eggs! 21 embryos on day 3. Embryos deteriorated quickly. ESet 5day blast on Sept 10. No embryos high enough quality to freeze. BFN came Sept. 22.

    Reserved a semi-known proven donor in August .

    Waiting for consult/screening and protocols with estimated fresh cycle timing in October

    Yes that's normal! It feels weird to have time of after seeing them so often. You are doing your meds which is great. For the bloating drink coconut water, and have a high protein diet. Good luck lady

    Thanks everyone!  The bloating has definitely started to subside today.  My pants no longer feel like they're trying to cute me in half!

    I'm waiting to hear from my doc's office for my transfer time tomorrow.  Excited but nervous!
