If you don't check-in for 3 weeks you'll be removed from the list but we'll happily add you back next time you check in! QOTW: If I had to pick one, it would be chapstick. I don't think I'd survive without it 

:P If I only had five minutes to get ready, I'd give top priority to brushing my teeth, putting my hair in a bun, and slapping on as much make-up as I could before time was up!

Sending lots of luck to those cycling or trying to figure out their next steps-

Update - Getting everything done for our transfer next month. It's all consuming getting everything updated, sent, notarized and local monitoring set up.

I'm stressed about shipping our embryos. The fact that they are created from double donors makes it more difficult; more paperwork, more phone calls, ect.

I also have to take a medical leave from work, as my boss has been less than supportive in the past about needing time off and it's too late to just request vacation time. So again, more phone calls and paperwork.

I drive down to SIRM in NJ on Monday for my mock transfer on Tuesday morning (it's going to be a 6 hour drive each way).

Qotw - I have to agree w/ @RunCC37‌, I'd brush my teeth first then I'd have to just go with concealer, mascara and lipgloss.

I use an illuminating primer from ELF that I'm kinda obsessed with; it gives me a little glow. I feel like I need as much glow as I can get... I look so tired and worn out lately-

Hi ladies! I gave my nurse one last chance and emailed her again today (I'm up to maybe 5 unresponded emails) tomorrow I'm emailing my RE and requesting a new nurse, I'm almost up to week five on bcp so there's no way she shouldn't be in contact with me about next steps. Soo frustrating. I hope everyone else is doing well! Qotw: def mascara, although I need foundation while on bcp bc it messes with my skin .

I passed my glucose test with flying colors! Very happy about that :-) Otherwise just plugging along. My shower is this coming weekend and I'm shocked that a) I'm having a shower when I never thought I'd get a baby... Very emotional. my sister told me only 3 people declined which is crazy!!! She's freaking since it's at a restaurant and she assumed we'd get more declines than we got. Guess people are excited for my babies!! More emotions.... I hope all of you still struggling get to experience this ((())))
QOTW : hmmm, normally I'd say I need to brush teeth but it does make me gag right now... Then I'd say some powder, blush & eyeliner.

I had my transfer on Friday and waiting for my beta on the 15th.

QOTW:  I would use mascara and concealer (after brushing my teeth, of course!)

Ok so just plugging along.... Waiting g to start bcp on the 23rd for fet 3.2 lol. Transfer is set for Oct 29th. Not too far away so...
Qotw: I'd have to say a flat iron cuz my hair can be messy and I'm a hairstylist so must go to work with good hair! And probably perfume so im not stinky and some bare minerals foundation and Clinique mascara.

AFM: I’m spotting right now. Once AF is officially here I start testosterone priming protocol. Since we are planning embryo banking anyway, I will stay on clomid through the entire stim. The only down side is the thinning of the uterine lining, and since we’re not planning a fresh transfer there is no down side. We are also adding HGH this time.

One thing that is a bummer, is my RE was looking at the calendar and she’s concerned that my retrieval would likely fall in October, which is when the lab is shut down for the ASRM national meeting (10/18-24). So if my period comes soon, they can extend my estrace and testosterone out a week longer than the protocol states, or they delay it a month and start testosterone and estrace mid-October instead of mid-September. I’m going to with extending my estrace and testosterone out a week longer.

Anyway, I will be jumping on the rollercoaster again soon. I’m kind of excited again and my RE sounds excited too, which is increasing my excitement as well.

@Rumbera28‌ - welcome over here I hope you can get on the Jersey state mandate! I thank my lucky stars every day that we've had the opportunity to try as much IVF as we did thanks to the mandate. There is no way we could've afforded as much as we've done without it.

@Km672‌ - good luck with all your arrangements! We consulted with the Jersey doc at SIRM in January and were so impressed with him! We ended up going a different direction (RMA for their lab), but were thisclose to cycling with Dr. Peters instead.

@sorrellam30‌ - that is outrageous about your nurse!!!! Come on, people!! It's not like you're being impatient...... you've waited long enough and deserve a response to your questions within a reasonable timeframe!!!

@Mrs.McIrish - congrats on passing your glucose test!! Woohoo!!! Enjoy every second of this while getting prepped for your baby shower! How exciting!

Hi all! Great to read all the updates.

I think our biggest, hugest news is that our baby does NOT have Trisomy X!!!!!! We had a cell-free DNA test at week 11 (harmony) which said 99% positive for XXX. We decided to forgo CVS or Amnio as it was too big a risk and we weren't going to terminate as it wasn't great news, but wasn't the worst thing either. We opted to confirm with cord blood at birth... Well, pediatrician called Saturday morning and said, "my dear, I read this 7 times before calling and decided this couldn't wait for Monday...." Cue tears. Lots of happy tears. Simone is a chromosomally normal female, 46, XX. Woo-hooooo!!!

In other news, my milk supply isn't cutting it so we are supplementing with formula as of yesterday. Made me sad but she's not gained hardly anything at all and is still 13oz below birth weight. It was time. Likely supply issues are due to my age . I didn't know that was a thing. But I guess it is...so I am working on supply but in the meantime we need to keep her fed properly.

Otherwise all is well here!

Hi ladies!  I've been MIA for a couple weeks.  I got the promotion I was going for at my job and I'm incredibly busy but happy!  I have to update and run since I'm on the way to work after this.

I STILL have not heard back from Dr. Duffy or Nan regarding a potential new protocol or plan to mature my lining.  Frankly, I haven't had time to call/email them either.  I've been on the Nuvaring since AF started after my biopsy and it's getting old.  Plus, my insurance denied the Nuvaring this go around because they want me to be off it a week instead of continuous.  Fortunately the pharmacy adjusted it so they covered it.  Nuvaring's are expensive!

Hugs to everyone who needs them, I think of you all the time eventhough I haven't had time to get online much!

I hear all these stories about Lupron being so evil. I must have lucked out!

16 weeks yesterday. Nothing going on.

QOTW: I must have foundation and lipgloss on my face! I wish I could be like some and go all natural. That thought is scary lol. My hair needs to be washed everyday. It sucks but I must wrestle with an alligator at night because it's disastrous when I look in the mirror

Check in: Nothing new to report. Our GC had her glucose test yesterday so we will find out the results of that. Our little guy is still measuring ahead. I can't believe that November is almost here! I have a shower on Saturday and I'm really excited for it. 

QOTW: I'm pretty laid back when it comes to primping and my beauty routine, so all I really need/use is moisturizer on my face, mascara, and some foundation powder stuff so I'm not shiny. Chapstick is also a fav.

@2MamazInSeattle‌ !!! Omg!! Unbelievable that the cell free test picked up an extra X!!! You must be so happy . But I have to tell you that either way, you handled the situation with grace and always had an amazing attitude about it. Just wow!!

Update: I had my transfer on September 3 and beta is this Friday. For me the real test will be the 7-8 week u/s. I've never gotten past that point. Hopefully the Lovenox will be the determining factor.

QOTW: my must have is BB cream, I have to have some kind of moisturizing coverage otherwise I'm all splotchy!

Such great news this week on this board!  Hang in there ladies waiting and cycling- your time WILL come!

I am 19 weeks today and doing well.  My bump has had a major growth spurt this week. I can't bend over to tie my shoes etc anymore... I am interested to see at my OB and MFM appoitnments next week how far I am measuring ahead.  Other than that trying to stay calm and make it to our next goal...24 weeks.

You got me! I had a faint line on the test this morning (5.5dp5dt). But I've been there before so I'm trying to just take it one day at a time.

EAIF Update:

We have a total of 5 showers being planned for Squirt. No, I'm not kidding! Both mh current co-workers and co-workers at a place he doesn't work anymore, but our GC still does want to throw us a shower. We feel lucky that Squirt is so loved!

As a side note, I broke a bone in my foot today. Yep. I was just walking while teaching a lab class and rolled my ankle. So I did it in front of my class and that makes it a worker's comp claim. Ugh. Crutches and a boot for me in the immediate future.

Great news, 2mamaz! And don't feel bad about having to supplement. Simone will be just perfect. My milk never came in, my LO was EFF and she's just fine.

DH and I had a heart to heart and he wants to be done with fertility treatments in the next 6 months one way or another. We are taking a month off, doing another saline sono and will do an FET in the October/ November timeframe. If that's a BFN, I'll do an endometrial biopsy in December and also have an appointment with Dr. KK that month. Taking any feedback into account, we'll transfer our remaining blasts sometime in the first quarter of next year. Not sure about Dr. KK, but since we live so close to her, I figured it wouldn't hurt to get testing. I am sure she will have some great feedback, I'm just not sure if I'd be willing to follow through with more drugs as part of a treatment plan. We will see. As for beauty products, I can't live without my flat iron.
